There does appear to be a loose parallel between jewish and Quaker histories. Both groups were (rationally) discriminated against in many economic and cultural sectors. They responded to the discrimination by pouring into the occupational fields which were still open to them: banking and industry.

I think that’s an unfair criticism. JP is a psychologist and more of a self-help guy than a political activist. He tells young men to take responsibility, to fix their own lives before criticizing others, to stop hiding their masculinity, to tell the truth even in the face of persecution, etc. This is a message that is desperately needed, and it’s patently obvious to me that a bit more masculinity, truth telling, etc. will drive young guys to the alt right in droves. Just because he “avoids the JQ”, etc. doesn’t mean he isn’t an enormous force for good. I think he censors himself too, but he does every once in a while drop a pretty big red pill. I even heard him admit racial IQ differences once. Give him a couple years and he’ll shift rightward right along with the culture. He argues against identity politics, but he does a shitty job of it. He’s very adept at arguing against the left, but doesn’t know how to argue against the right, so he defaults to straw men and poorly thought out arguments. But I think he’s an honest, genuine guy, and he doesn’t much like being beaten in arguments, so he’ll come around eventually on that point.

I would argue that a lot of Muslim terrorism is a result of American interference in the middle east, the past few presidents have failed miserably with regards to their Middle eastern policies. What I can say about Trump is that he is making the right decisions regarding foreign policy. Trump has the rare ability to get on with leaders from around the world that Obama and Bush especially sorely lacked. Notice how there have been far fewer Isis inspired attacks in America and Europe since Trump assumed office.

These numbers are too charitable to Muslims. I don’t think they are right. “90 deaths” means that 9-11 is not included, so the time period must be post 9-11. And then according to wikipedia, there have been 98 deaths due to Islamic terrorism in the US during that period compared to 20 deaths due to right wing nationalism, white supremacy and anti-government attacks put together. I don’t understand where this 79 deaths figure for “right wing American terrorism” is coming from. That’s probably wrong. That’s probably all non-Islamist terrorist deaths put together. Most of those are not right wing. They can be left wing or black nationalist etc.

1) Mohammedans are less discriminating about who they kill compared to American Right Wingers.
2) American Right Wing terrorism is more competently executed compared to Mohammedan terrorism.
3) Leftists don’t care about actual murder if they can instead attack their political opponents.
Reasoning from data and context, we can conclude that once Americans stop caring about leftist shrieking, actual terrorism may be perpetrated by the right with only the law to stop it (not backed up by public pressure). Once this happens, the next time the Democrats lose an election, they will face decentralized warfare that is more precise and focused than the type previously seen.
