I’ve been on record for years that the coming trend change will be characterized by an inversion of the rising social trust and Utopianism (better understood as the Gnostic Heresy in both openly religious and occult, putatively secular forms) that defined Leftism writ large. Westerners have been outgrouping for 500 years. I think that trend is past.
What we see everywhere our eyes are allowed to recognize is one institution after another being destroyed from within by the very individuals who depend on it or who own it. Government (and news media, “churches,” medical systems, pretty much everything) becomes ever-less capable.
All these systems now obey the iron laws of monopoly, inevitably closing in on the Black Hole Phenomenon where resources go in and nothing of value subsequently emerges. The nation-state, instituted to bring order and stop internecine warfare, is now the primary source of disorder and inter-group warfare.
For the last 40 years the West’s Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous were placed on each Nation’s National MasterCard, a phenomenon always present during the inevitable run-up to bankruptcy.
It resulted in a misallocation of capital resources on a scale never-before seen. The denouement of this will be a long period of idle capital (while most of it degrades to valuelessness) including the “investment” people made in their “skill sets.” Unemployment on a scale never imagined is certain, as is an endless pathological stream of “top-down fixes” that will make things worse (just as did such efforts in the 1930’s.) Politics will determine haves and have-nots, leading to a downward spiral of collapse and hardship.
It won’t matter, eventually, who controls Congress or the Judiciary. The FedGov will eventually be irrelevant. What is local will rise to exclusive relevance as social trust “distance” shrinks.
Leftism grew to a pathological collective suicide pact. It’s long-past due a reversal.
It’s funny, if you squint, hold the words at a distance, and take measures to counter the side effects, the Blackest Pill sounds like the Whitest Pill. Maybe we have to flirt with civdeath to find the courage to claw back to life.
Personally, I like the idea of a reinvigorated social trust at the local level, as the Leftoid Leviathan recedes to irrelevancy.

(1) No one knows the timing; everything we see today was present 22 years ago, yet here we are. Had I the prescience people assume (hindsight IS 20/20) I’d have pulled in a 5,000% return during the last 9.5 years. (hint: I didn’t.)
(2) History takes place in slow motion. It’s not like a TV movie with a beginning, a middle and a denouement in 90 minutes. No such thing as “set and forget” preparations.
(3) Are you sure gold will be “THE” thing to own when what follows now arrives? Keep in mind that at $147/bbl of oil, the “peak oil” folks were pounding the table for $500/bbl oil. No one knows for sure what will be “the” thing to own now (that people in the future will desire above all else.)
(4) Who wants to eat their MRE’s for the next decade? Have you ever tried to exist exclusively on “non-perishable foods” for a month or five?
(5) Re: guns/ammo: If ammo is time-in-the-fight and food/water is time-in-life (too), then Americans have more ammo than they have food…already.

I believe the FEMA standard (per a high ranking official I one knew) based on decades of research is that “ground zero” is usually safe for normal shift occupation within 2 weeks. Safety gear still recommended, but no one has to time shifts anymore per dosage.
Look at Japan. Those were probably the least efficient nukes ever built and those cities were rebuilt almost immediately. Modern weapons are far more efficient at using up as much of the fuel as possible to keep weight and size down per KT of yield.

A lot of people don’t realize that most of our tech isn’t really that advanced. We just have oil now as opposed to pre-industrial revolution.
You can make stuff as advanced as you want, but it starts becoming less reliable as it gets more complicated. When we run out of resources, there goes the tech.
The biggest thing I fear is genetic engineering of an underclass. Aka that has a ton of productive capacity but no ability to be insubordinate.

This will only happen as long as white men allow it to happen and then no longer. My theory is a mass flight of whites to most likely a northern region or somewhere with terrible winters will be the flag to watch for. I’m thinking Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Russia or basically any of the Slavic countries. I would expect the heavy bloodletting in the US south Germany/France.

And when we did have cold snaps? The place was absolutely deserted.
Just tonight I went for a run and it’s in the 30s tonight, one of those rare cold dry southern nights. There was a lack of darker skin.
Oh but it would be racist to point out how difference races have different levels of cold tolerance. Might even by a culture thing: maybe they don’t own coats? I don’t know.
So yeah it’s going to have to be some cold northern reach.

1. Building out industry (e.g. medical services) to far beyond what organic demand indicates, under the artificial conditions of borrow-to-spend, is a fantastic case of capital misallocation.
2. Under fiat monetary systems, debt is money. Since 1981’s bear market low for bonds, owning debt was a guaranteed money-maker…until the bull market for debt ended in 2016. This meant that people’s savings (in the form of debt, i.e., bonds) were recycled into consumption spending.
Hyman Minsky was the guru of debt economics. He posited that the debt cycle had three phases, starting with a useful, healthy phase and ending with a Ponzi phase where debt was issued/used to fund consumption, waste and fraud. We’ve been in the Ponzi phase for some time (poster child is stock buybacks funded by issuing debt.) When interest rates rise enough to set off a stampede, most of the “savings” everyone thought they had in bonds/debt-ownership should evaporate. Talk about capital consumption…but in reality the capital is *already consumed.* What will occur is simply a *recognition* of that already-baked-in fact.
I posit that what is likely to come is a collapse in the value of debt, which under fiat money is a collapse in the money supply and monetary wealth, such that the result looks like a “shortage of money.” All efforts to restart the main contributor to the money supply, the credit-creation system, will fail until the final low is reached. When nadir is past, I’d expect the “authorities” to totally F*ck-up by literally printing banknotes with rising denominations, Zimbabwe-style, leading to hyperinflation, but all this is just conjecture.

The old generation wallows in self pity and self preservation mode, keeping a low profile in the face of the new terrors, paralyzed by the softness of their core beings and the perpetual shock that “the Old World” is gone.
Look at the fall of the Roman Empire and the Dark Ages. The fall of the USSR. Communist China’s semi reform.
A generation must pass away. I think its also a form of judgement. For all our huffing and puffing we are all responsible for sitting on our asses and letting this happen. Talking about it doesn’t mean anything. I’m sure tons of people in Russia in 1917 talked about how evil these communists were and how there’s no way they were going to let them win. The Tsar will never let that happen.
It happened. Solzhenitsyn was pretty clear that one of the primary emotions in the gulags was guilt, not despondency. They all knew they stood by and let it happen.
For one thing, small local communities are not capable of supporting this many people whose only skills is growing and building bullshit. There’s not enough food, water, or fuel to go around. We have surpluses of these things because of massive industrial societies that still function despite themselves. We produce billions of tons of resources for pennies on the pound and our reward is hundreds of millions of useless people living better than kings and emperors a century ago.

Utopia is not an option (axiomatically, because no two people define it identically.) History is a sine-wave (or possibly more of a helix) through time, always changing, always with cross-currents of “better” or “worse” in one way or another within a larger trend. I like some of the changes of the last 40 years, and abhor others. Life’s like that, a mixed bag, with the sum being mostly what you make of it. The grass isn’t greener on the other side of the fence, it’s greener where you nurture it.
No one know what’s next, or after that. I like to think that me and mine will do okay, come what will, because (1) we can at least imagine that something will change and require a new approach and (2) we’re far smarter than the average and our adaptability should thus be better. There are no guarantees, of course. The race doesn’t always go to the swift. Complacency is a major enemy.
Globalism came with the finest of divisions of labor. It had blessings and curses. As trust necessary for it collapses, some things we now take for granted as permanent may literally stop existing. Some things could see their prices rise to beyond widespread affordability. Standards of living seem likely to decline, in some cases sharply. In other ways, maybe some things stay the same or get better. Who knows? But I do think the era of belief in Continuous Compound Growth will end, and a belief in “limits” will come with some very harsh social changes. Fearful, pessimistic people are very, very dangerous.

Social trust at the local level necessitates racial homogeneity, at least for Whites and Asians. If that not exist, the local level will be nothing more than ‘Mogadishu meets Mad Max’ carnage. So, try and choose your local level now, if possible, before the SHTF.

We’ve had it “too good to be true” for my entire life (I’m AARP eligible.)
During that time the incentive structure caused people to embrace behaviors (including political policies) that eroded the system by which our good times were produced.

How many people, having hit some home runs in the markets (or getting a big payoff in a casino, same thing) pull back to safety? Very few. Most double-down until the wipe-out. It’s human nature to attribute to personal competence that which was simply right-place/right-time.
While I discovered it does not work for forecasting (because timing is always unknown), I still embrace the basic premise of something called “socionomics.” It’s foundation is that as social animals, we humans exhibit herding behavior in areas of uncertainty. We tend to adopt the viewpoints of those who surround us. This is an attribute with a spectrum; some herd a little, some herd a lot, but everyone herds. Herding is exhibited in fashions, in pop culture and above all in finance and politics and economics. All of this results from the actual way our brains are structured and the way our cognitive pathways actually work (which have little in common with how people think they do.)
It is the engine for “Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds,” but also the width of men’s ties this season, the performance of horror movies vs Disney Princesses at the Box Office, and the price trends of stocks, bonds and commodities. It is not entirely unpredictable, but since timing matters above all, it makes prediction to the level of profitability too subjective to use. What it basically says is, trends occur, they reach apogee and change. That insight and a dollar gets you a coffee at McDonalds.
Herding is guided by a kind of unconscious set-point. When people wax optimistic, they visit coffee shops, attend concerts, bid up the prices of stocks, trust the veracity of “the news,” trust the promises of IOU’s, wear colorful clothes, and basically engage in “frisky” behavior. Waxing pessimistic does the opposite.
Because social mood is, like most investment assets, intangible, it has no limits. “How high is up?” is a question without an answer. Is a widespread (but hardly universal) belief that a man can be a woman by announcing it an illustration of giddy belief in the unreal? I’d say so. Are widespread rationalizations for the “equality” of homosexuality to heterosexuality, for the rejection of biological bases for group differences in intelligence, thrift, ingenuity, etc., for the naturalness of AAPL’s market cap being a $1 trillion or the “what, me worry?” attitude toward the unsustainable, compound-growth build-out of black-hole industries like Medical Services, welfare administration or the military-industry-cartel signs of maniacally high optimism?
I’d say so. Are those who embrace open borders and replacement of the very people who created (and still sustain) Americans’ standard of living in thrall to an unconscious belief that resources are unlimited and that we’ve reached a New Plateau of Nirvana where John Lennon’s lyrics from “Imagine” are now a reality?
I’d say so.
The Great Depression came after a decade of unsustainable ramp-up in optimism-fueled asset prices, debt, etc. It was lengthened and made far worse by the widespread embrace of central planning by “scientific management.”
We’ve had 40-60 years of ramp-up, including imposition of immigration policies that increased the population of the USA by 50%, a build-up of IOU’s (debt) without historical precedent, and an entire economy (read “jobs”) grown entirely under artificial heat and light (debt growth.) As in 1930, people have no idea from where prosperity arises, but today’s embrace of “scientific management” is far more entrenched, and people’s dependence on centralized systems far greater than almost 90 years ago.
Feminism. Homophilia. Central planning/”scientific management.” Rejection of biological laws. Industrial-scale rationalizations for it all. All of the items about which we complain are instances of a collective insanity that produces self-harm on a collective scale. It’s all a fad, a fashion emanating from the longest, most manic period of social mood optimism in recorded history. It will and must by natural law be “corrected” at the same scale. Natural laws exist. On a collective level such things are determined and inescapable.

PS: Utopia is not an option. There is and can’t be an “end point” where struggle ceases within any living system. What lies ahead is a passage through a valley of difficulty. So what? Rich or poor, married or single, old or young, tall or short, each of us will have to work with what we’ve got and make the best of it. At least most people who read this (and similar) blogs, seeking the ego-reinforcement of confirmation bias (I do, too) are already predisposed to expect a change in trend. Those inclined to double-down on the dying trend will have short life expectancies. We always live in Plan A (the world as it is), but at least we know that having a Plan B (and even a Plan C) might be useful in the event that inevitable change has arrived.

A white pill: If you are a white man and have a solid understanding of game you will differentiate yourself from the sea of mediocrity and can get a moderately attractive young woman to submit to you. You can have a family. A big family. There is no governmental limit on the number of children you can have. And it isn’t hopeless at all if you know what you are doing. You need not get divorce raped and watch from afar as you sons become soyboys and your daughters become thots. It can be done. It is being done. I am doing it. My wife is pregnant with our fourth child and she’s still relatively young. The children are blond and beautiful and smart. Men of our race are still being born with the right stuff.

They are being born but they are ignored by the msm.
I worry about my kids in who they will look up to in popular culture. I cant shield them from that.
There are very few inspiring white men in sports, music, film etc.
