This is the j__iest thing I have ever read. I was just saying to myself that I really want to make it through a single day without getting smacked in the face by j__ish perfidy, and this day was going well until NRO took a steaming matzo ball on it and dashed my hopes. Another day ruined.

There’s so much wrong with this assertion, it’s hard to know where to begin discrediting it.

Europe was economically integrated before WWI. So much for that “shekels before nationalism” argument.

There is all the evidence in the world that shekels DON’T alleviate the problems and antagonisms of disparate peoples living in close proximity. See here and here. I predict NRO wormtongues will not read the truths spelled out at those links. Neolib Egos before Truth.

More revealing is NRO’s tacit admission that Diversity is our weakness. The craven rootless merchants at NRO know, though they are too cowardly or malicious to openly admit it, that Diversity is an obstacle to be overcome with a sprinkling of Magic Moolah. Like Magic Dirt, somehow, someway, economic activity will make all the problems of a multiracial dystopia disappear, and we’ll come together and sing of buttplugs and mocha-colored babies.

Except that has never happened, and won’t happen. At least NROniks have given up pushing the lie that Diversity is inherently good. Now they think it’s not so great but greed will make it moot.

Ann Coulter retweeted:

“who cares if the country turns into a polyglot, multiracial favela wracked by neverending inter-ethnic strife as long as i’m gettin paid.” — a principled conservative at the National Review

Trevor Goodchild adds,

Pretty ballsy to top this off with a portrait of Hamilton NRO, you know he loved tariffs and protectionism and would have probably had your entire editorial board shot for treason right?

ah, a shitlord can dream.

Its what this NRO cuck honestly believes, but its pretty delusional. A select few profit enormously, while hordes are given standards of living far higher than they could ever achieve naturally, and in return the White middle class is gutted into a sink or swim situation: Either you have the IQ to join upper class diversity profiteers, or you get laid off and here’s your opioid prescription.

So no, we’re not “all making money off each other”. The Who?Whom? matters here. Somebody’s losing, and it certainly ‘aint eskimos or muds.

It has less to do with IQ and more with sacrificing your principles and falling in line.

True, although it seems that most people don’t have many principles. Globohomo is just the default path to being “successful”, so they follow it without feeling like they’re sacrificing anything. Its why red-pilling people with potential is important, they are then forced to make a choice.

Saw this yesterday. It is so sophomoric, there is no way Cost believes what he’s spewing. He’s trying to sell his book, that’s it, in fact, that’s all NR is: a platform for “respectable Conservative” comfort food.

I feel a tinge of guilt reading such brilliance, nearly every damn day, for free on this Intrawebzz. Heartiste, I’ll be sending in a donation via GayPal shortly. It’s been a while …

[CH: unfortunately gaypal shoahed this blog. anyone suggest an alternative?]

I don’t think anyone is reading it anymore. I stopped when they purged Derbyshire, Steyn, et al because of racial and immigration issues.
The people running it however don’t care all that much as long as they are still getting paid. They don’t matter, the Republican Party is increasingly becoming Trump’s party so the neocons can just shrug, tell themselves it was worth a try and drift back into their home in the Democratic party.

Ah yes. The war on the middle class, loosely defined and including a good chunk of tradesmen who wear blue collars.

I saw (the tail end) of this playing out (and read about the earlier phases) in my native Sweden. Soon after WWII, when most people accepted all sorts of government imposition, the Social Democrat party went ballistic. The Minister of finance, Wigforss (very google-able but hits mostly in Swedish) set the ball rolling, and started to turn Sweden into the extremely high tax country (by various but not all measures) it is today. When some people suggested to him that there was a point of diminishing returns for high tax rates (what is now called the “Laffer curve”, he explained that he did not care, he wanted to get these people.

The war on the middle class is subtle. It is not a matter of annihilation, vaporization or even liquification, but of subjugation. When middle class starts to see itselves not as individuals in charge of their own destiny, but as supplicants to the authorities, the battle is essentially won. And the direct way to make them see themselves thus is to – drumroll – make it a fact.

By about 1960, the mission was achieved. Various skirmishes still break out, with varying results, but this is minor, with one big exception:
The transfer of power to a new federal EU bureaucracy, largely shielded
from the people, despite the often toothless European Parliament.

In the US, the same process is ongoing. It started with Wilson, vastly expanded by FDR (google for Wickard vs. Filburn). The US is harder to tame, the outcome is as yet TBD. Die Stryd duur voort.
