    I worked in a small city about an hour north of San Diego. Mostly White folk, somewhat conservative, good percentage where Bible believers. Had a great time working there. Got along with most people. I always livened up the crew with much appreciated humor. Which is to say, to borrow a phrase, my jests rarely fell flat.

    Contrast that to the current job in LA–too diverse, too despondent, too morose. Zero camaraderie. Yeah, you’ll see a few folk hanging out, but for the most part, all the races segregate, if they’re enough in numbers. The outlying minorities do what they can. I stick to myself as much as I can.

      I’ve had the same experiences with diverse workplaces. I interviewed for a job in a 70/30 white/black metropolitan area, meaning 95% white workplaces. No H1-B slaves but the boss was almost apologetic about the demographics, and assured me that there was a growing Hispanic population. Sad they have to learn the hard way – by that point it’s too late.

      I live in LA, too, and this is also my experience, except that the white women all hang out with the black guys. I personally know of seven five different white women at my workplace who are pregnant by the black guys, and these are educated professional types, not trailer trash.

    Live in Tacoma, greater metro Seattle … liked it when I was younger, 20’s, 30’s, 40’s… now that I’m on the cusp of turning 50 I’ll probably move inland to Spokane – 80% white … sounds good to me.

      Actually, it is about 86% White, with only 2% identifying as black or AA, and another 5% of mixed race, of all kinds. There are 5% hispanic and 2% Asian.

        The last time I was in Spokane, passing through for ten minutes:

        I witnessed an open air drug deal on the street in an okay neighborhood, a guy high on meth yelling to himself, a mentally ill black man walking the street and harassing pedestrians. Mixed couples, muh dikkers, etc. Legalized weed all over the place. I’m surprised it’s 86%.

        It was a hammer blow to Spokane when the two big Kaiser Aluminum plants closed during a round of globalization in the late ’90’s. Thousands of Deplorables had excellent wages,and benefits that vanished into the cheap labor maw of the Turd World. Like so many other formerly-industrialized areas, the laid-off workers failed to thrive in the brave new world, and the drug scene exploded.

        The city’s old-money ruling echelon, who live on the idyllic South Hill, are as pozzed as any of their compatriots elsewhere, and force the edicts of The Current Year down the majority’s throat good and hard.

        Spokane would be a good example of a place where based retirees and on-line workers who are free to change location could move to and use their increasing numbers to influence the politics and culture in an area that is still pretty damn White.

    I live abroad and notice this myself. All the Western male expats hangout together fine as long as there are less than three of each nationality/language group and everyone speaks good enough English (White Canadian, British, American, etc. are one category. Germans are another category. French their own category. etc.)

    Once you get over three of a nationality/language group you start seeing the group splinter off into their own nationality/language groups.

    This only applies to groups of men.

    Women expats seem less tribal and are more willing to hang out with foreign men.

    Male expats are also more willing to hangout with women outside the tribe (assuming they’re hot). Gotta spread the seed.

    I was recently at a pub in downtown Rustbelt, USA while traveling on business. I was reviewing some notes prior to an exam the next day when the group of typical gentrification hoard drones next to me took an interest in the massive code book I was reviewing. They were pleasant enough so I chatted a bit with them and the gay black man among them, who I could tell wished I weren’t so cisgender, asked me about his former hometown when I mentioned I worked in Baltimore. I told him the place was dying, and after the jury duty I just attended, told him the place would not get better anytime soon. He asked why not. My response— “ethnic nepotism.”

    Granted, I was keeping on my trad-con veneer— ideology and values, color blindness, etc, ad nauseum.

    He perks up and asks me what I meant by that. I say, “well, we had seven black jurists, I was among the four white jurists, and we had a Hispanic man. We had clear video evidence of the victim getting shot by the defendant after the defendant mugs the victim as the victim walks away from an ATM the defendant was casing after a Ravens game. NONE of the black jurists would convict on attempted murder despite having the defendant on video popping a cap into dat ass. They want their town to magically get better, but they won’t put black murderers, rapists, and drug dealers away.”

    Ironically enough, our gay black Baltimorean moved away specifically because of the violence several years ago, but he immediately launches into this “well but…” diatribe of all the predictable excuses— black defendants being put away by white juries, black men jailed for looking at white women, and even the excuse of robbing someone to feed your family. No avenue of argumentation with him would bring about anything other than moral relativism and excuses of why our darling defendant simply needed the victim’s money more than the victim did.

    It was enlightening. Even though he was a more docile black than his counterparts, he displayed absolutely no sense of absolute right vs wrong, or of the necessity for personal responsibility. They are incapable of it… like children.

    Most Whites, even liberal Whites, have two distinct event personalities: One at events that are mostly (or entirely) White, and one where there is the heavy weight of vibrancy around. Most events or places that people recall with hapiness, even if they do not realize why, are generally those events and places that they experienced (i.e., truly had the chance to experience) without diversity around. The exception, of course, is when one goes to a high-functioning foreign culture (Japan, South Korea, etc.) or even a lower-functioning but stable culture (Peru, Argentina, etc.) to visit. Vibrancy in the West (where we usually import, and breed, the most feral varities) is terrible, pure and simple.

    Teams are built on commonality. Race/ethnicity are a commonality. Although you certainly can build teams out of diverse groups, you have a few strikes working against you in direct proportion to the degree of diversity.

    It’s why when I see the “Diversity makes us stronger” bullsh*t I want to slap someone. No. Diversity is a handicap to be overcome.

        The saying is such because Koreans are more individualistic and are “stronger” relative to the Japanese . As such, one on one, a Korean will win. As a group, the Japanese do better because they are less individualistic and better team work. Korean=everyone wants to be the boss, Japanese=we have our roles.

        So on paper, a Korean will have better stats. Faster, stronger, quicker, ect…
        but as a group, the Japanese have better team work.
        Teamwork > individual strength

        Grossly oversimplified, but your basic statement is accurate. –However– The “work” of the 1950s where you could afford your own little slice of the American dream and the “work” of the 21st century where you are an interchangeable cog in a soul-grinding gear of diversity ain’t quite the same thing.

        “Working” towards upper mgm’t / CEO is good work. Working as an indentured servant? No so much. The idea that “all work is good work” is as outdated as the idea that the American Dream is achievable through hard work anymore. It is not. And you are a very foolish man to pursue such a goal and squander your best and most productive years in a country where the deck is thoroughly stacked against you.

        This is why I take all that I read here (especially) and the internet at large with a rather large boulder of salt. As I talked about to a few “hardcore WNs” a couple threads back trying to flex their e-muscles. Subtlety and context are the lubrication of success and winning.     I began my career, back in the day, having, had folks not intervened, an actual fistfight with a negro at my first gig, and constant arguments with a muzzie from Egypt at my next one until he transferred out after I became the “go-to guy”.

    Neither of the two belonged in the particular white collar field I pursued for more than 25 years, and looking back, I’m surprised at how I prospered. I attribute it to being involved with projects that eventually affected the bottom-line deeply at both companies, and since computers were relatively new at becoming widespread throughout all places, management put up with men who could deliver, even if they were a bit rough at the whole PC stuff.

        My point is that no particular “Protocols” determines j00-ish behavior, but rather that j00-ish nature necessarily informs the prescriptions put forth in any possible “Protocols”.

        Meaning that if you had a bunch of alternate universes [being spun-off constantly by quantum-mechanical uncertainty], then in almost all of those alternate universes, almost all “Protocols” would be almost always very nearly identical with one another, simply because those Protocols would reflect the underlying nature of The Tribe which produced them.

        In the last two weeks I’ve experienced two boomer Jews who served and even went to Vietnam spontaneously tell me that “there are too many people with guns.” They initiated a conversation I didn’t want in the first place (loud and pushy — I was trying to pay attention to my kids, not the loud Jew) and eventually found a way to work this into the conversation. I kid you not.

        The last time I came “this close” to asking him whether (((they))) get their marching orders at synagogue or whether they are all inherently anti-American.

        They do have private special meetings every Thursday.

        All organisms are driven to survive and prevail in their chosen habitat. Whites and Jews, as the two most intelligent AND enterprising races (the Asians seem to be smart but lack that drive and ingenuity), are the natural competitors for the role of Apex Predator of the world.

    I work in a specialized area of engineering where graduate degrees in math, engineering, and physics are common – this means there aren’t any qualified Africans or Latinos in the field. The biggest problem is when they start forcing women onto engineering teams (they work as “project managers” or “product designers”). Things can still work when there is a small number of women, but once you get a bunch of them, everything turns into a “let’s talk about feelings and workplace fulfillment” fest of incompetence.

    I work in the US for a large chemical company. They are pushing this diversity meme hard. All managers have to take diversity training. In addition, all interviewees AND interviewers are bound by diversity quotas. For example, an interview panel as well as the group of interviewees must be 50% diverse i.e. not cishet white male. It’s sickening. Jordan Peterson made the point that true diversity is on the level of the individual. And here we are enforcing racial diversity quotas. Seems competence is an afterthought. What’s perplexing–and maybe you guys can help me–is do companies actually buy into this or are they virtue signaling for PR points?

      When your company hires outside legal counsel, do they enforce diversity quotas on that law firm? Many large well known companies look at the percentage of non-white non-male attorneys the law firm employs, and they insist the a certain percentage of the billable hours be billed to non-white non-male attorneys. If your company imposes diversity quotas on outside legal council, they actually buy into this BS.

      As a further tell, did your corporate legal department hire a fresh-out-of-law-school AA attorney a few years ago, and then rapidly promote this AA attorney into a position with significant authority? If so, this AA attorney will most certainly enforce diversity quotas on outside legal counsel.

    this reminds me that I read once about a study that ‘proved’ that diversity improved decision making because it avoided ‘group think’ and because there is information that diverse people bring so it increases the overall level of information in a group. The study was designed to get that result so I won’t even spend time trying to argue its design quality is poor. Instead I will point out that this argues that there is information that an arab has that white males can never have so therefore hiring arabs or whichever group is better because then they can share their information, but white men must not be able to understand it or learn it at any point because that would mean it no longer makes sense to hire by ethnicity. I would also add that other studies have shown that diverse groups do not share more information but less information. I can’t really envision a diverse group that is immune from group think though. I would also add that group think didn’t appear to be a problem until recently so was everything in the past a failure then? really there is a lot of ridiculous conclusions to be drawn from the ‘diverse is better’ idea.

        Regarding the 1.8 million illegals, ideal scenario they all get enrolled into the cattle car family reunification program. But if we have to make deals, then give them **lawful permanent residence**, NOT citizenship. As LPRs, as long as they keep their noses clean they get to stay, but they do not get the vote nor can they sponsor relatives. Normally, LPRs get to eventually apply for citizenship, but that privilege needs to be waived as part of any deal – which is more than fair considering they illegally entered the country.

I had my very near run-in with philandering a few years ago. Not looking to repeat the unpleasant experience for obvious reasons. (But it has a way of making your stock go up at home, however much we may not want to acknowledge that.)

        It’s more about male/female dynamics. I learn something every day from it. Seems that the hyper feminized workplace forces you to either lead or to beta. So I stay vigilant.

        There is also a quaintness to it; I was asked to help jump a dead battery this evening. Classic, basic male competency
