So it was pouring rain yesterday and I walked out of this coffee shop to see this younger (let’s say 23ish) and short blonde woman trying trying to get across a 4 way stop intersection but couldn’t because the driver’s just kept ignoring her and going and she kept stepping back up onto the sidewalk in the rain. I needed to eventually cross the street so I decided to just step out after a car passed and said “come on” to her. As I came out, I was immediately met with flailing arms of the “uber” driver in his car making a left hand turn into my path. So I slowed down and stared at the guy almost stopping completely until the flailing stopped and we were obviously clear of his path. Unfortunately, the woman was to homely for my taste but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let a bunch of “Uber” driver’s treat us like shit. Ran into her at a bookstore a few minutes later where after the look she gave me i could have fathered her kids.
The problem we face these days is that we back down or are complacent with the “newly welcomed”. I’m not having it anymore. I suggest you do too.
