PS An LA Times story on the alt-right. Richard Spencer appears to have congealed as the official face of the alt-right. I have nothing against the man, so good luck to him. From what I’ve read (about himself and of his views), there isn’t much with which I’d disagree. I wouldn’t stress objectives like mandated racial segregation or mass deportations of nonWhite citizens, (that kind of stuff just serves red meat to an automatically antagonistic media), but his world view strikes me as mostly in line with a realist appraisal of the eventual fate of hyperethnic, multiracial societies.
The other criticism I’d level at him is the embrace of the ghey. Enough already with this fruitcup glorification as a perceived means of lending a revolutionary movement a sophisticate’s credibility to make it more palatable to a pozzed culture. I really don’t see NPI going anywhere if its brand is embroidered with the gay rainbow. The Trumpening is a clarion call to a resurgent masculinity, not to the poseur campulinity of roided up gays.

It reminds me of a child lashing out angrily. Or someone who doesn’t actually want to win, or is afraid of winning. A LARPer.
It would be one thing if there were established already a strong nationalist center in our country. There isn’t. The strategy against it is always to marginalize, push it out to the fringe in the public’s mind, make it socially and financially costly to adhere to. And Spencer is playing right into the globalists’ hands by feeding the media inflammatory bs that is marginalizing himself–and more importantly marginalizing a fragile movement that never elected him its leader.
This guy is not a leader. He doesn’t have it. And he is destructive. An AIPAC/ADL/SPLC plant couldn’t be doing a more effective job.

One other thing. I watched the NPI press conference. Asked whether they had contact with the incoming Trump administration, the panel got all mealy mouthed. Spencer paused. Not “direeeectly.” He or another of the panel said that on an occasion a few of them may have shaken Bannon’s hand.
Well, from that, the accurate answer is a resounding, “No.” And that’s what they should have said immediately. Sorry guys. You do not have contact with or contacts in the Trump administration. But Spencer, unable to admit this forthrightly, said just enough to leave a hostile press space to suggest to its mainstream audience that Trump has links to a group that tosses around phrases like “Triumph of the Will,” “ethnic cleansing,” “Hail Victory,” and “Luegenpresse,” and gives Nazi salutes at there gatherings.
Go extreme if you want dude, but carry your own water. Don’t impose the costs of doing so on others. Incredibly dishonorable. Spencer should be strung up by the balls.

Is all that likely to make legitimate nationalist policy ideas more or less palatable to a broader segment of the populace? We have real work to do and an unprecedented opportunity to do it right in front of us. Serious people do not have time for this role playing bullshit.

My disagreement with Spencer (If I understand his position on the matter correctly) is with his apparent appeal to dissolve European national identities into one White identity.

But they aren’t acting as a think tank. (I won’t even get into here how intelligent I think he is.) He does not limit himself to descriptiveness or advocacy of particular policies (even for particular people). He is purporting to speak for a group of people and to have their support. Putin (maybe 5’6″?) seems to utilise the Berlusconi (maybe 5’6″) gambit. Tall guys kept at a distance and sort of “handed-off”, in sporting parlance, body swivel outwards (“lookit me!”). Height-peers get sort of 50/50 depending on whether Vlad has left-hand advantage and shoots first.. Can’t link too many examples as mod-limbo ensues.

I’ve been reading alt-right stuff forever and although he’s purportedly one of the progenitors, I never found him interesting enough to read. So once he gets sick of playing the villain the media wants, he’ll retract. He’s actually a bit too normal to commit to being the next David Duke – after a few Seig Heil videos he’ll be spent.
Cernovich should take solace that he won’t get this type of press hit piece because he’s a more effective propagandist than Spencer… although Cernovich is quite obviously a self-promoter before anything else. Which is cool w/ me – when our interests align there’s nobody better.
