Unleashed female sexuality is great fun… while poolside lasts. But then a price must be paid, and that price is nothing less than civilization. Why are women primarily to blame? Because as the sexual gatekeepers, their lack of restraint is more destabilizing to societal prosperity. The female sex is, despite cultural pabulum to the contrary, the wilder sex.
Tragically (and this is one instance when the word tragic correctly applies), it would seem shining civilizations are doomed to eat and screw themselves to oblivion. Restraint — i.e., devotion to the gods of the copybook headings — leads to prosperity. Prosperity leads to liberality. Liberality leads to disintegration.
One can as successfully stop this civilizational cycle as one can stop the cycle of tides. So, you may as well clink a glass and enjoy the time you’ve got here.

Those “certain folks” are Catholics, the by far largest group of Yahweh worshippers, who used to have a monopoly on the franchise in most of the Christian lands. That is a whole lot of goddess worship.
Anyway, for the original question: no, getting rid of goddesses doesn’t mean a thing. And thwack shows his ignorance. Look at Hinduism, for example: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are men. Look at Buddhism: Buddha is a man. Look at Shinto: the spirits in the objects and concepts all around the worshipers were thought of as male spirits. Look at Greek mythology: Zeus, Poseidon and Hades were men, the female gods are not what make the world go round. Look at Asatru: it started out with the trinity (trinity being a recurring concept in Aryan religions, eventually picked up by Xtianity just like the resurrection of a god who sacrifices himself for the harvest) of Odin, Thor and Frey before more gods were added. Always, goddesses exist because male gods exist. They are wives and sisters and daughters, because people reasoned that if gods were like human beings, there must be women there too.
Today people think Afrodite and Freya were “love goddesses”, and isn’t love so very important? That’s not how it worked. Afrodite and Freya were the most beautiful and prominent of female gods in each mythology, so they were the ones women prayed to when they wanted a female ally. And of course what was most important to women was to find love, i.e. to tie a husband to them. So in later and more poetic ages, notably the Renaissance, the “love” aspect was emphasized.
Perhaps the most important female god of all was Hel, the death goddess in Nordic mythology. Otherwise female gods are mostly just … there, not running any important part of the world. Reflecting the societies that the worshippers lived in. Again we see this in Christianity, where Mary was elevated to the status of a female goddess, but she doesn’t run any particular part of nature. (Unsurprisingly, Judaism doesn’t have any female equivalent, perhaps the ONLY religion to not have any female deity to appeal to. This is a religion where the most loyal followers have sex with their wives only after covering her with a sheet, dirty woman that she is, and then cutting a hole in the sheet. Done only for procreation. That is considered the height of religious devotion, as women are filth, they think. That was carried over somewhat to Christianity, but not to the same degree.)

It may be that the outcome is fixed – but the length of time it takes varies.
A regular cycle takes ~400 years. The roman empire made 5 full cycles until its fall. The current anglo-american cycle is only about 400 years.
It is by no means certain the demise will come now, it could well take another 400 years or more.
That said. If one falls, another one rises. So unless one is a tree we are free to move to greener pastures. This is not a bad thing – it was the very same thinking that made the people from europe sail westwards a few hundred years ago.
Except Native America was a largely empty piece of land, whereas there are no more undiscovered lands to live on.

We went from piss poor backwoodsmen shitting in the fields to world superpower in about 40 years, and we’ve gone from burgeoning empire to rotting empire – something that took Rome from about 100 BC to about 100 AD – in 30 years. The pace of technology and the speed with which everything, including abject moral rot, spreads through society, will hasten our demise.

There are plenty of cultures where sexual exclusivity is insisted upon sometimes on pain of death but not a single one where sexual exclusivity has an iron grip on the culture as anything but an idea, certainly not as a practice.
This is the usual BETA style point of view:

Women are the sexual gatekeepers only towards BETAS, because the betas as many, and women they don’t desire them, they are disgusted by them.
It is sexually attractive men who are the overall sexual gatekeepers, because they are few and women badly desire them, and they can pick and choose.
Women are instead the gatekeepers of commitment, the commitment that matters, that is of paternity, they decide who becomes a genetic father and who becomes a cuckold.
Lack of monogamy deprives both alphas and betas of reliable paternity; betas because women don’t want to have their children, and alphas too, because alphas experience how sexually aggressive women are towards them and realize how unreliable paternity is for them too, if women feel like jumping on every alpha’s cock that they can.
And without reliable paternity men don’t invest in the future…
