If we get single payer, it will be astronomically expensive because nothing will be done to curb costs. Of course we could take some of that money we squander in the military and pay for it. At least pale people and not just special people will benefit.
Strategically it would hurt big time the democratic party because that is their biggest issue for the voters. Combine that with building the wall and everify and Trump will win by a landslide which means Trump will do neither.

In addition, most hospitals in the US are Community Hospitals (whether it’s in the name of the hospital or not) and have to treat patients on a sliding scale. You have no income or under a certain sum for a single person eg $25k and you pay nothing (probably get the social worker attached to the hospital sign you up for Medicaid)
There are usually also free clinics where doctors donate their time etc
So who doesn’t get treatment?

Poland has a very open immigration policy and gives refugee status to migrants from Muslim countries. There’s just not many applicants, because Poland is a lot poorer than Western Europe.

The Global Compact for Migration means nothing and isn’t actual law. Denmark and Austria also reject quota refugees, but unlike Poland, we Denmark and Austria didn’t sign up for it in the first place, so they haven’t been fined.
Poland is a pro-immigration country and has been one of the biggest supporters of free movement within the EU, because they want to go to Western Europe not just for work, but also as criminals. Following the east expansion in the EU in 2004 and again in 2006, we saw a spike in crime in Western Europe, especially property crime, because of crime committed by Poles, Romanians, and people from the Baltic countries.
Now Poland brings in Ukrainians and Russian workers, some of them will become Polish citizens, which isn’t difficult, and therefor also EU citizens, who can move freely to the West as criminals. Sure, the property crimes committed by Eastern Europeans isn’t as bad as sexual and violent crimes committed Africans and Middle Easterners, but it isn’t great either, and it’s more difficult to stop, because it’s EU citizens, unlike foreign refugees.
Poland is a massive hypocrite, that’s all, a pro-immigration country that suddenly changed rhetoric in 2015, but still one of the biggest supporters of free movement within the EU as well as a supporter of free access to European welfare states for all EU citizens, not just citizens of the particular country. Americans hear nationalists rhetorics in Poland, Western Europeans see hypocritical leaches who are in a hurry to leave their own country. How can anyone call them nationalists, when so many Poles don’t want to live in Poland?
