Yep. Money/mouth. I never used any social media so thats easy. But i used to have netflix and amazon. Ditched the tv years ago so netflix was helpful for occasional movies.
Then dropped them and went with amazon prime. Was good for a short while. Less than a year but their tracking and invasive pestering got as creepy as the wandering bulge eye of bezos.
I miss the two day delivery of my chinese lead laced suppliments but I now that i’m back too 100% brick and mortar I don’t even think about it.
People would be a lot less hysterical and a lot happier if they just got off the “convenience” addiction and did things like we did even just 15 years ago.
All that convenience is just one long conveyor belt hauling their fat asses to the soylent green plant.

Remember, during Bush administration Republicans held both houses of Congress and the White House and they could not be bothered to zero fund NPR or PBS. Both NPR and PBS have moved dramatically to the left since then, and have become nothing more than a propaganda arm for the left wing of the Democrat party. Yet still Republicans can’t be bothered to do anything about them.

Another thought is that if you can think of any lawsuits to file against these companies, do it. The jury trail system is one of the only institutions they can’t control. That is why they hate it. Juries are comprised by and large non NPC plebes who DGAF. I’m sure there’s some aspect of the Google EULA they’re bending to point of a class action. Same for rest of the tech cabal.

This is perfect. I searched for the effects of alcohol in the first trimester, because I think it likely causes widespread and serious harm. What I found was that a bunch of studies were released by different universities with different conclusions. Any university that said it was harmful (it clearly is, think about it) had four other universities saying it was just fine.
Think about it, that’s why you get conflicting health information. One party is telling a blatant lie. They all know the truth. It’s literally not rocket science.

Not trolling here, but it’s something that has both perplexed me and troubled my thoughts.
Why is it that more liberal leaning people end up working in the better paying companies than right?
I am saying this as a conservative leaning person working for a very large tech company. So I can say it is hiring practices. Maybe geography? I am somewhat, but not entirely, outside of a left-leaning metropolitan area. We are mostly former military support.

There isn’t these sort of areas in the USA where conservative leaning folks can dominate big industry outside of blue collar. Depressing.

À propos body invasions, I am reading a book by Dean Koontz. I think of him as a VERY uneven writer, but “The Forbidden Door” makes me forget that I am reading a book, and I feel like I am “there”. First time in many years, usually a read novels with a jaundiced I, as a critic.
The story is partly about a rogue organization inside the FBI, NSA etc., echoes of Stieg Larsson with the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo (Män som hatar kvinnor) and two sequels. And yes, he borrows from himself about mind control (“False Memory” – a good read). But still a pageturner.
