He wasn’t afraid to delve into forbidden territory. I submit that his really last good concert was Playin’ With Your Head (in ’86) and after that it was all downhill.
Towards the end, (his last 15 years) he was bitter and this doesn’t make for good comedy. He didn’t quite straddle the line between hippie-dippy comedy and shock/angry comedy in the 80’s with the likes of Dice, Sam Kinison, etc. I think it pissed him off.

I once questioned the existence of the devil. Then the neocons took over and he was right there in your face every single day, laughing. Appearing on TV in $2000 suits. Writing Op Eds. It is far easier to go though life if you have a committed partner that you cooperate with. This is especially true if you have children. You can pool economic resources, have one home so you do not have redundancies, share your time to raise the kids, etc. The fuglies like the ones in the pictures, are people that will never find a life partner. They are just too ugly. So instead of helping societies winners they would rather try to tear them down.
Functional people do not need a lot of resources. that is true for everything such as the police, special educational needs, special laws to give them an advantage such as AA, or welfare. They just want to be left alone to live their lives without parasites sitting on their necks.
