The Golden Rule is a suicide letter in an open air sanitarium. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" sounds like airtight moral logic, until you grapple with the reality that all parties must agree to the rule, and furthermore must be capable of abiding it.
If even one party refuses to uphold the rule -- that is, expect to be treated well while not treating outgroups similarly -- or is behaviorally incapable of respecting the rule, then the Golden Rule becomes a template for the Golden Rube.
It becomes a blueprint for endless exploitation by cheaters.
To follow the Golden Rule successfully is to do so only with like-minded others. The Golden Rule can only function, therefore, within a closed system. Outside that system, the Golden Rule requires a shared moral sentiment that racial reality proves is nonexistent.

I thought it was obvious by now that the Russia collusion story was dead. But apparently Trump has been sowing disinformation, that CNN, MSNBC, et al., reported as fact, and ended up looking stupid.
The media wasn’t lying. It was actually a scheme Trump concocted to discredit the legitimacy of the MSM.
This is their actual narrative now.
