If you think your usage of inevitable is sound, it means you’re the typical American who doesn’t know shit about history. Ethnic cleansing, population transfers, genocide, partition are all recurring features of the history of humanity.
So even if current demographic trends will continue, nothing is inevitable(unavoidable). Of course, there’s no reason to assume so, but I’m not going to give you a statistics lecture about the extrapolation of time series into perpetuity(there are even more methods to do this and I’m sure you’re ignorant of them all).
And English isn’t my first language, but I do know what inevitable means.
