Jared “I really want my father-in-law to lose in 2020” Kushner:

WH Working on Immigration Package to Increase Foreign Worker Visas

White House officials are building on Pres. Trump’s call to increase legal immigration, according to a new report from McClatchy. According to the report, Pres. Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has been meeting with a number of business groups and other government officials to devise an immigration plan that would increase the number of employment based visas for foreign workers.

Kellyanne “I’m the REAL obstructionist” Conway:

A lot of news broke in the last few days off my twitter account about the angel moms and a meeting with Trump about the border bill. I want to clarify how things actually went down:

Angel moms came to DC early in the week, trying to schedule meetings with Trump, Schumer, and Pelosi. Schumer’s office granted them a meeting, Pelosi’s office called the police on them, but Trump’s WH respectfully said they couldn’t take a meeting.

According to two sources, the order was coming right from Mulvaney to stop a meeting w/ the angel moms. The WH has ways of stopping info from coming to Trump, many members of the WH team who are hostile to the MAGA movement keep information from ever reaching POTUS’ desk

With Trump in the dark, Angel Families and their organizers brainstormed how to get POTUS’ attention. They floated multiple ideas but time was running out with a majority of them having return flights on home scheduled on Thursday

They decided upon a press conference outside the WH where they would denounce the border bill. The WH caught wind of this and panicked, it would be horrible optics especially given that they had worked so hard trying to stop criticism from conservative media outlets

Mercedes Schlapp called one of the organizers, asking that they turn around and stated that Trump was fighting for them w/ this bill. The organizer refused to give saying that $1.375 billion wasn’t enough for all these dead Americans.

With Mercedes unsuccessful, Kellyanne Conway called saying and also argued that they shouldn’t do this to Trump. The fight got heated, words were exchanged, but in the end the Angel Families refused to give up their press conference in front of the White House.

Kellyanne was visibly upset after the conversation, Trump walked in the room and noticed something was wrong. After a week of keeping him in the dark someone relented and told him about the Angel Families.

As the Angel Families rolled near the White House, Trump called the organizer and stated he wanted to meet with them, that he had no idea, and invited them for a meeting at 9:15 AM on Friday.

Most of the Angel Families had left by that point but a few were there. But those that were there were happy to meet Trump. It was Trump’s idea to bring them in the rose garden.

One of the more noticeably chatty members of the WH staff was Sylvia Mae Davis, Deputy White House Staff Secretary/ Deputy Assistant to the President, ironically she’s one of the most hostile people towards the MAGA movement in the WH.

Trump went around, asking them how illegal aliens stole their loved ones, robbed them of memories and family members, they said after that they were happy he granted them the time but was disappointed they couldn’t change his mind on the border bill.

A lot of you want to know about Sylvia Mae Davis. She’s the Deputy White House Staff Secretary/ Deputy Assistant to the President – hired by I believe Rob Porter. According to sources in the WH, she’s a major road block to anything reaching POTUS’ desk on immigration

Like Porter before her she’s known for stopping papers from coming to POTUS’ desk, preventing staffers who share the President’s view on immigration from getting policy proposals to him.

One of Trump’s assistants who just wrote a book about his time in the WH said that Conway was one of the primary leakers to the media.

I’ve always found it odd that Kellyanne Conway has never rebuked her husband for one of his many deranged anti-Trump tweets. Does she agree with George Conway? Could be!

Trump needs to fire Jared Kushner, Kellyanne Conway, and Sylvia Mae Davis.

I’d throw in Ivanka for good measure (she’s a package deal; you can’t get rid of Jared without getting rid of her).

Unfortunately, these are also the four people Trump confides in the most.

What about the Trump Administration’s literal outreach to Globohomo?

FWIW I don’t think Trump was even involved in the World Homosexual Jihad announcement. Anti-Iran hawks, gay ambassadors, libs in Exec branch prolly just decided behind his back.

But publicly shooting it down will make Trump look like a:

a) “Bigot”

b) Weak, ineffectual leader

Trump is in the dark on half of the Globohomo-friendly policy proposals snaking their way through his White House.

This gibes with what we know about Trump. He can be unfocused, which underlings take advantage of. He has also been negligent in filling his personnel positions with non-libs, so this is what he gets: endless treachery.

Some say Trump had no choice in personnel decisions; the GOP cucks wouldn’t have approved MAGA-tested patriots. I say screw that, Trump would have been better off pinning the cucks with obstruction than surrounding himself with traitors, subversives, and deep state plants.

So here we are, two years in, and Trump has so few true, reliable allies in the West Wing that you could count them on one hand. Stephen Miller. Sarah Huckabee. That guy who orders his fast food burgers.

What was Trump thinking? That his enemies would learn to love him? That he could barrel through subversives in his ranks who want nothing more than to see MAGA fail? Or was he just too lazy to vet anyone, and decided to delegate to cuckphaggots THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION OF HIS YOUNG PRESIDENCY: HIS PERSONNEL? (cf, Jair Bolsonaro, on how to handle personnel issues.)

Finally, we must at least entertain the possibility that Trump doesn’t really disagree with the turncoats in his midst. Jared’s machinations on behalf of neoliberal globalism? Ivanka’s tears for baby beanlets? Kellyanne’s rude treatment of Trump’s most loyal supporters? Maybe they ARE on the same page as Trump.

I doubt it, but if Trump doesn’t execute a course correction soon — starting with pink slips to the enemies of MAGA mentioned above — then what’s gonna happen is a hardening of black pilled opinions about Trump, and a rapid retreat of his 2020 reelection odds.

Get your fucking head in the game, Trump, or continue getting bitten by the snakes who have coiled themselves around your “mantle of anger”.

Trump’s been living the big life for a long time. When you have that much loot, most generous-minded people (to include Trump) will probably not care if he’s making 1.5 million off one of his many deals or just 1.3 million. Sure, he’ll really miss that when he’s eating at the next Michelin-star restaurant.

But (((those))) around him are not so generous, either with policy or with benjamins. Ha, ‘benjamin’. Funny I never noticed that cohencidence.

Trump is used to even nominal enemies working hard for their own financial interests. Politics is totally different. It is not the ‘free market’ where everyone at a workplace, involved in a deal, is incentivized by money to work as a team, even if you don’t like a few of the other people you’re working with.

Politics is not making money. There is no “everybody wins at the end of the day” thing going on. There is no “we all make some money” kind of thing going on. I think Trump has that attitude about a great many situations in life, because that is what he has known for most of his professional life. It’s why Ivanka marrying into the Eskimo Mafia was not such a big deal for him. “Oh, heyyyy, yeah, we all win from this, even though it’s not perfect,” is what he was probably thinking. Doesn’t cut it in D.C.

During the runup to the English Civil War, Cromwell was well known for being ‘on the fence’ regarding Charles I’s true responsibility in matters that regarded his failure to provide redress for Parliament’s grievances.

He would often remark on the floor that it was not the king, ‘but his advisers’ that were at fault for providing the king with bad advice. Thus the Earl of Strafford was beheaded for providing improper charges for the arrest of several MPs.

It was only as time went on that Cromwell and the other Puritans and pro-Parliament forces realized that IT WAS the king (and his catholic wife) that were ultimately responsible for the ‘continued breach of privilege’ and that bad advice, bad advisors and unilateral decisions do not absolve a king from treason against their own nations.

Charles I lost his head (rightly so) in attempting to wage war on his own people for unjust violations of their ‘right’ to representation and ‘bad advice’ from ‘bad advisors’.

Trump should be careful. He won’t lose his head but he could lose his office. We elected him to do a job, a job I have been by-and-large satisfied with until now, but he needs to put himself more in the drivers seat regarding globohomos well-known and under the radar stealth appropriation of that power.

The buck stops with him. I know he’s got a lot to handle. But he’s responsible at the end of the day.

I think Trump’s biggest failing is not anticipating just how many enemies he had. I think he thought he got elected, and now the GOP would be behind him, and Ryan/McConnell everyone else would fall in line cause he was the winner. And by the time he realized they were just distracting him with ObamaCare, tax cuts, etc etc it’s too late and the Dems control Congress.

And yes, the biggest elephant in the room: Ivanka and Jared need to go. They needed to go yesterday. If he turns out to be a one-term President, it’s going to be their fault.

Can you imagine if IBM, or Apple, or _______ (any large corporation name) were run like this, with pretty much everyone from the vice president level down is actively working to keep the CEO & President in the dark, and feeding him wrong information to look stupid, etc., etc.? And THIS is our government!

    • Actually, my best guess is that your scenario precisely describes the downfall of moast once-great corporations.

Necessarily the passive-aggressive back-stabbing schemers move up the promotion ladder, and the brilliant risk-taking innovators are exiled as too eccentric, and inevitably the worst of the parasites end up at the very pinnacle of the organization, fighting tooth & nail to see who can get the largest Golden Parachute [before it all goes to he11].

That’s why Passive Aggressive Personality Disorder is a fiendishly successful Darwinian survival & expansion & conquest strategy, within the confines of an advanced civilization.

PAPD comprises such a s@tanically ingenious set of methods that I don’t see how traits like decency & honor & nobility of purpose can long remain in the gene pool short of the Decent & the Honorable & the Noble taking off the gloves and utterly eradicating PAPD from the Tree of Life.

Dante put sodomites and usurers in the same level of hell, the lowest and worst level of hell, if I remember correctly.

They both seek to produce something out of nothing, out of an unnatural act, and therefore diabolical and perverse, act. They seek to be God, they seek alchemical powers only God has.

Only the Triune God can create ex-nihilo. Original Christianity, Orthodoxy, is the only faith that claims and properly explains (through revelations, not mere human intellectualizing) the ex-nihilio powers of God. Which means if you follow any other religion or mantra, atheistic or theistic, you either fall into the trap of worshipping and seeking created things, the created, or idols, or you fall into the trap of seeking and worshipping nothingness, darkness and nihilism, evil and the devil.

Re: Money to be made in destruction. Have you ever seen the Frontline episode “Secret History of the Credit Card”? It’s metaphor for our country’s prioritization of money over social stability, in this case, through the complete abandonment of usury laws, with credit card companies coming up with all sorts of ways (low minimum payment, zero interest introductory rate, punitive late fees and rate hikes) through which one could, through imprudence, become a debt slave.

I think Trump’s problem is that he is used to dealing with rational actors in the business world. He thinks that if he compromises a little, the other side will too and they can reach a mutually beneficial arrangement, as you would in business dealings. This is a typical Boomer mentality, and might have sort of worked before, say, the Obama administration. (E.g. that old video of Schumer saying we need to enforce immigration laws.) However, the left is not rational anymore. These days they are driven by visceral hatred of Trump and Fucking White Males in general. So ceding anything is counter-productive. They will not give anything in return, and further will view it as a sign of weakness and push back even harder. At this point the only option is (not physically violent) vulgar displays of power until they come to their senses and/or back down.

I have this image in my head of Trump, up until he won the election: tireless Alpha dog who needs about 4 hours sleep a night, reading Heartiste and Coulter at 2am when he takes a little break from work.

Then he wins the election, and his whole life is under a microscope, his hectic days are planned out for him in minute detail, and he knows that if he reads dissident blogs like Heartiste, word would get out (they’re watching everything now) and there would be howling from all sides (save one side, the Dissident Right). Trump stops reading dissident blogs, and the current in DC remorselessly moves him ever leftward. He’ll never be a man of the Left, but he can be moved to the useless Moderate Middle, otherwise known as the Cuck Right.

    I sincerely hope I’m wrong.

Ivanka is married to Jared… and Chelsa Clinton is married to (((Marc Mezvinsky))).

Compounding the weirdness is the fact that BOTH Jared’s father and Mezvinsky’s father went to Federal prison for financial crimes.

    Hell of a cohencidence.

President Trump’s problem is that he just doesn’t know enough people in the political realm to make smart appointments. There are literally thousands of them out there, so he had to rely on the GOP establishment to recommend people to fill these jobs, and the only people he ‘knew’ were from his businesses or family and were not necessarily politically aligned.

In 2020, he needs to lean on his sons to work through his campaign to find qualified MAGA volunteers from around the country who want an appointment in his second term.

Trump would do much better to simply hire off the list of commenters on this thread. It seems we’re all a professional, if frustrated, bunch. His hiring decisions will be seen to historians as the downfall of his presidency. It’s truly a mystery that he doesn’t have a better eye for talent.

[CH: Other commenters brought this up, so I’m repeating it here: it seems we’ve overestimated a businessman’s ability to segue into the political world.]

You’re removing Trump’s agency by framing it this way, that Kushner is the one who doesn’t want Trump to win in 2020. In reality this is Trump’s fault for putting so many people in power (not just Kushner) who work contrary to our interests.

Trump doesn’t want to be president any more.

You judge a CEO by results. The CEO can’t get those results if he doesn’t build the right team. The team needs the right set of talent but it also must be loyal to the CEO and support his vision. That is why it is common for new CEOs to replace execs with their own people.

Trump has been a complete failure in making personnel decisions and spare me the nonsense about there being no one to hire. That is Trump’s job to figure out a way to staff his team with the right people. In Trump’s situation that means being creative. If Trump can’t do that, he is the wrong man for the job.

I think what is often missing in the debate over Trump’s performance is the combo of age and career trajectory. Trump has a real passion to win deals. The campaign was a giant deal. And, Trump won. But the man is in his 70s and just walked into the lion’s den. In Hollywood he could just plug himself into a system that worked, make high level decisions, be the man and trust others to st least try and do their jobs. Talk about a different situation.

Trump is just not at a stage in life where he wants to get mired in the nitty gritty of a horrid situation. He doesn’t want to sweat the details. He wants to fight with the press and sign bills. He doesn’t really care what is on the bill (he gets the pen). McConnell said that Trump will sign any bill they put in front of him.

Including surrounding himself with his favorite daughter and son in law, Trump has been a great case study in how not to staff a team. Obama had a large staff with a since of urgency staffing his administration. From the beginning Trump showed he was going to be a failure at that. He had two people doing his staffing with the manager being a Jeb Bush loyalist who was a Never Trumper. There was never a chance Trump’s administration would act on his campaign platform.

Maybe the key insight into Trump’s mindset is that during the campaign he said if he lost he would turn his business over to his kids and play golf. That is not the sign of a titan who still has for in his belly.
