It’s true the available talent pool for Trump to draw on was low. However Reagan managed to find enough people to push his agenda, because he had taken the issues seriously.

Trump is a testament to style over substance. He talks tough but governs like Jeb Bush. Having seen this exact same playbook used before against president Clinton back in the 1990s (I bet most of you were cheering back then) I know how this will end. Special counsels are a violation of the separation of powers, have all sorts of perverse incentives, and engage in massive abuses of power. They also set the stage for weakening a president’s reelection or weakening his successor such as Al Gore. Gore could have easily won in 2000 had the phony scandals, illegal leaks, and constant negativity not occurred damaging his standing in his home state like Tennessee. Instead it came down to Florida and we know what happened there. It’s one thing to have a partisan slant but quite another when that BS is being funded, supported, and legitimized by the United States Department of Justice. The special counsel shouldn’t even be allowed to exist because the law associated with it had expired back in the late 1990s.
If Congress wants to investigate and impeach that’s their prerogative but the whole special counsel idea is fraudulent. No prosecutor and employee of the executive branch should get endless time, money, resources, and staff to investigate a person and convict them based on process crimes. There were also a lot more serious things that Bill Clinton could have been investigated for like the CIA drug running operation he oversaw as governor of Arkansas but that never came up. What about WMDs lies shouldn’t that be classified as a crime? Why was there no serious effort to prosecute criminals on Wall Street? One could go on endlessly but the simple answer is politics.
It’s clear that anyone who stands in the way of the Bush crime family gets targeted with these special counsels. However now that the old man is dead and his idiot sons aren’t capable of doing much the torch has passed onto John Kerry who is childhood friends with Mueller and loathes Trump. Trump needs to declassify documents which involve John Kerry’s role at the State Department.
Clinton triumphed but the damage was done though and the deep state succeeded then by putting Dubya into office by far the worst president in US history and then we got the equally terrible Obango. The stakes are too high to fold now it’s gotta be all in or nothing. The country can’t afford to let the deep state win again.

It was in my early years as a libertarian reading revisionist history that I had my first inkling that America always has been a test ground, a petri dish, one grand Experiment, for the European and British elites.
Our landmass is too big to ever be fully controlled. Even with total ethno-religious homogeneity. The fix was in very, very early on though. By ‘fix’ I mean, the constant change, rule by an elitist merchant, trade, and banking class, too disparate to ever agree on a vision for the future, too willingly to experiment with Change, fight for their own tribe, or sell others out for the Almighty Dollar.
Too much open land, too many competing worldviews, religions, ethnicities, a Wild West in many ways, all across the continent. It was bound to spiral out of control, one way or another.
The only way forward is back. Unto things eternal. Find a family, a tribe. White, Orthodox Christian. Live and die for them and the Body of Christ, the Church. That’s it.
