Jailed ex-cop Sergey Tkach, 65, may have murdered more than 100 women and girls, including one aged only eight.

This is yet another reason why the death penalty was so frequently exercised in the good old days. Men like this were a danger to have around on many levels, so they were rapidly separated from their heads or breathing before they could further poison the herd.

The main problem with Serial Killers like this who prey on women is that they don’t add value of protecting the flock. Unlike some ruthless psychopath who can murder thousands to protect the tribe, some guy who preys on women actively hurts their own and not in any positive or darwinian method.
Vlad the Impaler, Crusaders and the Inquisitors come to mind as those who’s vast capacity for violence yielded good things for their tribes.
