A Music Video Idea

Staking claims to a moral high ground doesn’t have to be the sole purview of the Leftoid Equalist gimposium. The Maul-Right can do it too. I had an idea for a music video that would be a great example of recapturing moral ground ceded to the anti-Whites.

If you were an alt-composer of catchy tunes with a flair for the dramatic, you could write a song about censorship as a tool of the establishment Left (gussy it up with lyrical license). In your music video, you croon, ladies swoon, then halfway through, still singing and playing as before, total silence envelops the scene. Your voice is nothing but soundless mouth-moves, your guitar gently sleeps. Suddenly, black tape appears over everyone’s mouth. A Goolag-clad mystery figure is seen pulling the plugs on everyone’s amps in a cutaway. None of the central characters in the video notices, but the silence continues baffling the viewer.

A minute of silence passes, visuals still proceeding as if all was normal, then on the last note the lead singer rips off his black tape, perhaps aware of his silencing, and belts out an E major howl of protest.

I wish there were more artists on the Right, because it’s not like our side is lacking for material, inspiration, or enemies to lampoon. Maybe everyone on the Right needs to suffer a little more under the boot heel of their equalist oppressors before their artistic instinct can flourish.

  2. I play bass and I also have creative ideas for music that never quite made it to fruitation in my younger years (80’s) when I did play in a band. Hook me up with a guitar player, vocalist, and a drummer and let’s do this.

I think most artists appear to be mentally abnormal in some way. That’s why they disproportionately commit suicide, are homo, dissolute, drug addicted, etc. And this tends to statistically associate with leftism. It goes with the territory. People on the right tend to be better technicians. Technicians create good “Academic Art”, which was rejected by the left ~120 years ago.

I think the artists wouldn’t be suicidal if they were in touch with a civilization that makes sense. Their angsty and suicidal cause they live in a broken world (looking at my younger self before I discovered CH, game).

Historically most good artists were on the “right”, that is, Christian. Sometimes, and even often they were specifically motivated by their Christianity.

Modern artists and the artists hand-picked by modern art critics for reverence are leftist or crazy but that doesn’t make them any good.

I do like some art made by liberals (e.g. Pink Floyd), but for the most part liberal art is weepy, pointlessly abstract, or just disgusting. And that’s pretty much their whole point.

It’s not just artists who create artifacts. Also actors, e.g., Philip Seymour Hoffman (dead with Heroin syringes hanging out of his arm), River Phoenix, Heath Ledger, … Accomplished actors.

You’re onto something about technicians working in traditional art forms and styles. The current artist class is only predominantly left because, as in many ages, they are a reflection of the cultural milieu in which they live. In other words, these people wouldn’t be our artists in another time, or they would be different people altogether. I can think of a slew of counterpoints to the ‘leftists as artists naturally theory’ (for example, almost every writer in the 1920s was highly distrustful of Jews, from Hemingway to TS Eliot and HP Lovecraft). That’s certainly not in line with modern leftism. The problem today is the culture at large, which needs to be undermined somehow. There’s this idea now that conservative artists can’t even get a foot hold in the culture because their unapproved opinions will get them booted out the door by the old decaying masters of the monoculture. This is true, but only to an extent. And that extent is in our favor. Art that is unanimously stunning to everyone, regardless of its political flavor, will make it to the mass market because money talks. That works in our favor because, frankly, the bar is higher for conservative art. It needs to be dazzling to be accepted. Look at the flood of left wing tripe at your Barnes and Noble. A single modern classic could rise above all that.

Your opinion on this is like the old trope “only the left does humor”. Simply not true. On the contrary, the right has shown itself to be much funnier than the left and they can’t stand it. Meme magic.

The “sick artist” thing is a Jewish characterization that they use to explain their century of sick art.

There was nothing wrong with Dickens, or Whistler, or P.G.Wodehouse. Of course, they put Auden in the funny farm when he exposed them, but he was as sane as any man on earth.

Plenty of artists on the right. But try to get something published or produced.

If you a right-artist, there is the Internet. What about things like “Politically Correct Hitler” (I think it as called) and artworks that appeared in Anglin’s site. And this site and everything it does and all we contribute is art.

  6. I can not make videos, and for lyrics I would definitely need help …but if someone has lyrics and no music, there is a possibility I could do the music…

I do compose music ( rock, pop to ballads to almost anything ), I have some recording equipment…I play more than one instrument and my friend plays guitar close virtuoso level…we regularly compose music together and quite easily…my problem is time…it takes many hours to come up with something that sounds professional…

a 3 minute song can take 50 hours of studio time for it to sound like Metallica ( or like Britney Spears if that’s your thing )

long story short, I’m open to suggestions.

maybe we can find a way to make this happen.

  14. I feel your frustration. I had the idea of making a dodge commercial, splicing antifa crowds chanting “WHOSE STREETS” with various dodge muscle cars action shots and a gravelly voice saying “My Streets”, ending with a show room floor shot of all their muscle cars and the voice saying “Our Streets”, then fading to the dodge logo with the sound of the Chancellorsville Challenger plowing through the crowd.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find an acceptable sound sample for “My Streets” or “Our Streets” and every attempt to produce it myself fell pretty far short.

Things are much better nowadays what with online distribution and sophisticated motion picture editing and special effects capabilities on desktops.

However, it was not always thus.

I nearly got sucked into “the arts” when, in the early 1970s — fresh out of high school, I was invited by the undergraduate section of the Iowa City Writers Workshop while Anthony Burgess was the Artist In Residence. There was also theater department and since I’d been the lead in couple of high school plays, and president of the speech and drama club, the temptation was there as well.

Fortunately, the treatment of people in both departments exposed me to the perverse social incentives that, in entertainment mass media, bypasses profits for social engineering. Think about how the movie “Idiocracy” was denied distribution, and how the highly profitable “The Passion of Christ” had to be distributed by a new distribution company financed by its director, and notorious “antisemite”, Mel Gibson.

However, online distribution is being recentralized and censored — so how exactly are you going to distribute the anti-censorship video?

Fortunately there are 2 technologies coming to the rescue: Brendan Eich’s promotion of BAT (Basic Attention Tokens) and 5G’s inclusion of ICN-EC (information centric networking – edge computing aka edge caching).

BAT disintermediates the ad revenue stream from consumers to producers of content. ICN-EC disintermediates the physical infrastructure (such as Youtube/Google’s cloud).

[CH: would worldwide delivered satellite wifi have any effect on the censorship?]

“[CH: would worldwide delivered satellite wifi have any effect on the censorship?]”

      Simple answer no.

Complex answer, it would involve building vertically integrated platforms. Youtube is a platform. It runs on infrastructures owned and run by Google in google data centers. It doesn’t really matter how you connect to it if YouTube determines the content.

As you may know Gab have been trying to build an alternative to Twitter. Because some dicks posted some nasty shit on gab (dont know details) their DNS registrar threatened to pull their credentials.. This means you type in gab into your browser, and the bit of the internet that converts that into a numerical address that computers understand would fail. So now building an alternative to Twitter, now potentially includes building huge chunks or dedicated Internet infrastructure. In practice this is the very opposite of cloud computing, where you buy capacity from a provider who has done all that for you.

If you tried to build an “alternate” Internet you’re building a dark web, and as you can imagine, the authorities are going to crack down on you. So the discussion now moves on. As the CEO of gab observed, (paraphrasing) Gab’s content policy is now determined by the tightest arse in their provider stack.

They’re determined to control the internet.

Societal critique in music is pretty foreign to the American scene, but widespread and deeply rooted in Europe, especially France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands
Granted, most of those artists are lefty to hard lefty, but they exist.
The closest thing America ever got to something similar were the (also lefty) protest singers of the 1930s – 60s, but they usually sound very bitter and antagonistic, while the European variety is often presented in a humorous way.
More like some of Country musics’ ‘novelty’ songs, such as One piece at a time or A boy named Sue.

My bandmate and I (The Sensitive White Guys) are about to record our song, “Sensitive White Guys”…

“They say we’re mean, they say we go too far…
But we’re just making our way, in a world that’s getting dark.
Staying true, to what we’re all about,
Just trying to be ourselves, gotta stand up tall and shout that,

We are sensitive white guys 3x, yes we are,
And our lives are hard, sometimes, because
We are sensitive white guys, 3x yes we are,
    And we’re going far…forever, yeah.

The world has changed, not knowing who we are
We tried to dance like black guys, but that was really hard.
We couldn’t fly, our eyes too blind to see,
But tears now dry…And SO WE GRAB THE PUSSY. That’s right!

We are sensitive white guys 3x, yes we are,
And we rocket hard in deep spaces!

We don’t throw bricks at buildings,
    We don’t ambush the police,
We don’t hit girls with flagpoles,
    We didn’t cry about Trump.

    We care about the animals,
    We always help the children,
    We wanna stop the violence,
    We’re GONNA SAVE THE WORLD!

    Because…

    (And more)

Really looking forward to posting it here when recorded. Super catchy, super sweet tune, tongue-in-cheek with devilish humor that takes the wind out of the sails of all genocidal maniacs.

Cuz we’re just sensitive white guys
