The Deep State knows that the military and police are politically unreliable, except for certain units associated with the intelligence services. That’s why Obama advocated creating a domestic force that was “just as well funded as the military”. Essentially what they want is a parallel political army, similar to the SS and Gestapo, embedded firmly within the Deep State bureaucracy. The ATF is probably their largest and most ideologically sympathetic force, but even the Department of Education has its own paramilitaries.
They anticipate that these forces would be sufficient to deal with any localized resistance, like a Cliven Bundy or a Randy Weaver. But even at Waco, the ATF required (illegal) help from the regular Army (that’s how Gen. Wesley Clark made his bones with the Clintons).
If our Cold Civil War (John Derbyshire’s phrase) gets hot, however, and military units start to defect, as they did in 1861, or refuse to fire on other Americans, the Deep State will bring in foreign mercenaries, perhaps even invoking NATO Article V. But their only really enthusiastic recruits will come from the Turd World, salivating at the chance to r@pe and pillage white America.

That looks like a parody but we actually had a guy almost this bad when I was in basic. He was a fat little leftie who was only there because he didn’t have the balls to follow his principles and refuse to be drafted. He wasn’t quite this bad but after the first round of firing an M-16, with full ear protection and goggles, he was literally whimpering and couldn’t finish, so they pulled him off the line.
For those who haven’t fired anything as mild as the U.S. Rifle, Model M-16, Poodle-shooter; with earmuffs, about all you get on each shot is a mild push and the sound of the spring going boing transmitted through the stock to your head. Much less stressful than firing even a typical hand-gun. They let him graduate anyway despite never completing the marksmanship training, but this was during Vietnam so they were trying to keep everyone they could.

Hell, shooting an M60 was easy, very little recoil. The M-16 really is a poodle-shooter.
They loaded us up with tracer bullets at the range, very cloudy day, sometimes the shots would ricochet off a rock or something and zing up into the clouds. That was a good day.

first of all, leftist groups have traditionally been the violent ones. With some notable exception in France, the leftists are responsible for the vast majority of violence. It is just deliberately excluded from history, so even people on the right forget about it. The IRA, various revolutionaries, student groups, etc, not even including American groups have done quite a lot in the past.
