they forgot that if they’d simply made the tools with decent quality to begin with, they probably wouldn’t be getting as many warranty calls. i still have a set of adjustable craftsman wrenches my dad passed down to me that still work perfectly. they’ve got ‘made in usa’ stamped in yuge letters, and are nearly 50 years old.
to be fair, though, a lot of non-premium brand tools these days are made overseas, not just craftsman.
i’ve had good luck with tekton tools. mostly made in taiwan, but quality is surprisingly good for the price and they do honor their lifetime guarantees. only time i ever needed to call them on it was when i bent a breaker bar. not seriously, but they still sent me a replacement at no cost to me, no questions asked.

There’s a girl I know who I was trying to get to wear a skirt because it’s more attractive than pants…at least she wears her hair long…but, of course, suggesting that makes me “controlling”, lol. The counter is to tell her that she’s not into you enough…it wouldn’t work…if she doesn’t want to give up the opportunity you present, explain that if she were really into you, she would want to be at her best, to be very feminine…maybe instead she would enjoy playing roller derby with the big, strong girls (wink)

“If you like me you’ll do what I like” sounds faggy and passive aggressive. Just tell her feminine women are more attractive, and skirts are feminine. Just state it as a fact, don’t ask for her approval. Tell her women in pants look like men. Let her sort it out on her own.

Good question…however, the way I put it puts her in the chasing role and makes me sound like I’m about to give up and walk…which I tend to do a lot, lol…that is, walk…I already told her to wear a skirt, which was quite pushy at this pre-lay stage, but it’s recoverable, which requires more “faggy” comforting pull
tl;dr I gave her a strong push, so I need to give some pull and it’s better to do it implying that I am in control of the relationship and that she is in the role of chaser
