well ok, but the right-hand picture – which looks like half wax-museum figure and half lamprey – doesn’t do much for the pulchritude of youth, either.

Yes, Bardot is 73. And she’s raising hell with French Muslims for their animal-butchery practises. You’ve got to admit that that is an example of a “celebrity” showing real courage, for once.

I suspect that one of the reasons her face has suffered so badly is that she spent far too much time in the sun in her youth. Catherine Deneuve isn’t much younger than Bardot but has aged much better because she didn’t bake. Oh, and she has a face better designed for aging well. Baby-faces tend not to; aquiline features look better longer.

Johnny 5: just one more example of the way tastes and standards of beauty vary both over time and from one man to another.

She has great dignity in her eyes, and no need for plastic surgery. Good for her. I seriously doubt she gives two shits about what any of you boys think of her. Being sexually attractive, believe it or not, it not the epitome of human existence. Sometimes I can hardly believe the shallowness of you guys and you know who you are.

That statement and this website’s constant hammering of a biological justification for being a cad brings to mind a quote by Dostoevsky in The Brothers Karamazov.

“People talk sometimes of a bestial cruelty, but that’s a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as a man, so artistically cruel.”

Not that I’m a dizzy or David Alexander. I’m much too jaded to think that this is a new development in mankind. There was and always will be Roissys (Rossies?); the great reaver-kings of love and sex. Hell, I’m friends with a couple of ‘em. They’re entertaining.

I hope and trust that most of the men who post here are not nearly as caddish in real life as they are on this blog. Perhaps that’s naive of me, but there you are. I don’t mind so much when they go on about nasty things women do to them, or about the lunacies of political correctness, but it does bother me a little when they get mean about things women can’t help, like being old or unattractive. After all, it’s not as if anyone is forcing them to date these women. But women themselves appear to have grown crueller than I can remember them being when I was younger, so perhaps that’s the reason for it. I don’t know.

I think your intuition is right. I also doubt most people here are mirrors of their online persona. I’ve been online since 1993, and seen enough people and communities to sort of instinctively get what sort of person is underneath the cultivated persona. It’s why I lurk mostly now. You learn a lot more about folks by watching and occaisionally pitching in a bland calculated response than actively taking part in an online community.

While most here ain’t as big as cads as they seem to be online, I would say most of them aren’t putting forth something that they’re explicitly not in real life. Most of them are players to a greater or lesser extent. Only a couple folks really ring false to me, though one of them even doesn’t realize it himself. (I’m leaving out trolls in this calculus.)

As for being cruel to the old, it just strikes me as a sort of whistling past the graveyard. One day all of us will be wrinkly and saggy and decrecipt. No magic biological bullet will defeat the simple physics of entropy forever. We eventually will be unattractive and the beautiful young things content in the eternal now of youth will mock us for our ugliness and slowness and cluelessness as we smile ingratiatingly at them. They will say “It will be different for us, we know better and won’t be like those old fools grasping at straws.”
It’s all so very funny to me to watch the folly of man repeat itself anew ten million times over.

Now for the rise of latter day cruelty, I doubt that’s actually changed all that much. Young men and women have always been the most exquisitely cruel of any age in history. It’s just as we age, the past takes on a sort of halcyon sheen where we were better than those now. If anything, the only thing that’s changed in my eyes is that the tech induced ADD of the younger generation has removed most of the subtlety behind a lot of cruelty. It’s so much more direct and to the point now.
    …

It never bothers anyone when we pick on guys who are losers through no fault of their own (a recurrent theme here). Maybe you’re saying that it’s bad manners to pick on girls specifically, just like we don’t hit girls but can hit guys.

If you want to be with one person for a long time, they will get older and they will look different. You not being able to handle that is your problem, not the woman’s. Stay with the young girls. It’s your life. But don’t act like women who get older have somehow failed. It’s you who can’t handle reality.

Good point, Agnostic. The post angered me, and in my anger I neglected to mention that Roissy has generously provided me with high-quality entertainment free of charge, and for that I am thankful.

What frustrates me about this post is that it tars by association the reality-based thoughtcrime – spiced up by a rapier wit – that makes this blog highly worthy. In picking on an old lady for no good reason, Roissy lends credence to his detractors’ assertions, in not so many words, that he is simply a mean-spirited pedant. His better posts argue otherwise, but one like this, which is simultaneously lazy and mean of spirit, gives too much aid and comfort to the Dizzys of cyberspace.

This isn’t such a good point. You’re saying that by not blogging I’ve disqualified myself from criticizing those who do, which is curious logic. You’re not a U.S. Senator, I trust, but on that count you don’t deny yourself the position to evaluate those Senators running for President.

It does bother me when specific men get picked on here, but Roissy’s picking on men is usually not directed as much at specific ones, so I don’t feel compelled to speak out in their defense. The fellow in the odd clothes from the other day was a bit of an exception to this general observation of mine – but clothes are indeed something you can “help”, and anyone trying so hard to make an impression has got to be prepared for the possibility of failure.

Incidentally, I just started a series on “nice men” at my blog, to keep me from dwelling on those who are not nice, and remind me of encounters with those who are.

Bardot seems to have aged badly given her baseline attractiveness, and interestingly enough her appearance didn’t really decline so much between 50 and 75(ish). Her appearance declined dramatically between ages 35 and 50 – or 15 short years.

An old man without an old wife whom he feels attached and emotionally connected to, might do better to seek out a very ugly woman (3 and under) in her 20s than an above average woman of 60 or over.

That much-debated chick in the ‘visualizing beta’ thread wasn’t the hottest in the world, but at least her neck isn’t a scrotum. I’ll bet a 80 year old me would be pretty excited to jump on some of that.

obviously a woman’s looks are a depreciating asset; those of us with iq’s over 70 don’t need visual aids to prove the point. but in many women of days gone by, that physical beauty was succeeded by a quiet, feminine, confident dignity that earned the title ‘lady’, and spurred even the most alpha of men, perhaps especially the most alpha of men, to acts of chivalry.

unfortunately, although i still meet them on occasion, such ladies are now largely an anachronism. if and when i find such a lady in my own demographic – unlikely enough already, but especially because i invariably look in all the wrong places – i will stay staunchly loyal to her, regardless of the damage wrought on her face by the slow burn that is aging.

until then, of course, i will continue to be a sexual Sisyphus, looking for the next rock of ephemeral pleasure to roll up the proverbial hill. after all, there are a hell of a lot of nicely curved rocks out there, and these days they can be tossed up the hill with minimal effort.

the fact that all these people jumped to attack roissy and defend the old woman is telling.

mortality is a bitch, but it works towards men (in the sense that their status and wealth is increasing over time) and against women (as they go from prime and the boss fo men in their lives to shit pretty quickly and over time dramatically).

women do age much worse than men (and men can use testerone replacement and exercise to stay attractive to younger women, while women can do very little). more women should take better care of themsleves, exercise, eating well, sleeping enough, not drinking to excess, not smoking and avoiding the sun could help women stay pretty much longer.

the reactions above says a little bit about dating and the “game” and such.

i really think american women are hurting themselves long term by trying to live a party girl life as a young woman at the expense of of their future.

the important point is that women go down hill fairly soon and quickly. “the game” approaches towards party girls and such is effective because of the choices these girls make wrt men. i think most women are clearly making the wrong choices as they end up used up and without the advantage that they staked their lives on.

“You’re forgetting the inconvenient fact that the average man finds himself stinking up a coffin a full seven years earlier than the average woman.”

Contrary to what roissy needs to believe, men are the weaker sex period. He, like so many men, are obsessed with gaining SOME kind of advantage to make up for their statistically proven weakness in just about every area. The sexual superiority of women is the most threatening of all, hence the constant focus on sexual control and the ensuing chaos.

As a woman, I must say it gets really old. In reality masculine and feminine aspects are of equal value, so neither should feel threatened. Looking only at health and mortality misses the point.

I would agree… if you take it by the yardstick by which you measure everything, Roissy. I really don’t think the person who coined that phrase meant that couples on their 50th anniversary would be looking forward to better sex than when they first were together, though, nor say that their physical beauty would mature as a brash claret can become more subdued. Perhaps what the quote is saying is that when the external pleasures wilt and fade away, something else less visible replaces it and provides comfort and joy in that time after the dew is off the rose but before the eternal darkness comes.

Granted, I would not care to see Bardot naked at her current age, but oh to have a meal and a long talk with her would be fascinating! I’d more prefer her social company to an 18 year old dullard, in fact it would be rather relaxing to be around interesting women with which there would be no sexual tension at all, just as a break every now and then.

Ah, no. In fact, it is probably true that young men and women are NEVER the most exquisitely cruel of any age in history.

Years lived is the gold standard for accumulating loss and bitterness… especially for women, as this picture shows.

And young men generally have less power than older men.

Family sizes have been shrinking all over the developed world.

The downstream psychological and societal impacts of only children are greatly under-appreciated by researchers.

For instance, fewer children means parents have less incentive to discipline or chastise those children for bad life choices. A parent is likely to fear losing the love of an only child more than would a parent fear losing the love of one of her six children.

If an only child decides to troon out, her parents might be hesitant to express much displeasure and disapproval because they don't have any other children to fill the void if that tranny-child decides to rescind her love.

Something like this dynamic, on a large societal scale, has serious implications for the shape of the culture and the willingness of parents to administer tough love. Pampered only children become vehicles for cultural degeneracy by drawing in fearful parents to sustain the system.

Butting into this conversation, I have complicated feelings about AI. It is a weapon that we absolutely must not allow the Left to monopolize. The potential to seriously undermine leftoid cultural hegemony via right-wing AI is vast.

But I also know that this is a weapon which in time will destroy us all by ushering into existence the Zero Trust Society and the Zero Employment Economy.

The former is the more likely outcome. For example, imagine AI image generation that can fool even the experts, and then imagine that tech in the hands of anti-Whites, who get to work using AI to retcon our White past with the addition of nonwhites in our photos, videos, and books. Soon, White people could become conditioned to acccept the false memory of a past America that was always majority nonwhite. A massive psy ops of that nature would effectively quell any pockets of White resistance to their racial overrun.

What AI would unleash is the institutionalization of the inability to discern reality from fantasy. People who cannot reliably know truth from fiction in media and government press releases will suffer extreme mental duress, and many will react to this funhouse mirror world by dropping out and re-grounding themselves into very small kinship circles, at the level of hamlets and rural outposts.

People in general just do not sufficiently grasp how utterly awful a zero trust society will be in practice.

What does a Zero Trust Society look like?

It looks like Mass Surveillance and biometrics.

Colorado's White population is shrinking, and currently sits at 65% of the state total. The beaner population is exploding.

"Despite consistent increases in net migration, Colorado’s future growth is precarious. Since 2021, the increases in migration to Colorado have almost exclusively come from international migration, individuals migrating from outside of the United States directly to Colorado, rather than domestic migration, movement from other states into Colorado."

      https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/3aa6968ec7a34ff8b0f172ad6ae6d23e

For a while, there was domestic net migration flow into Colorado, driven by White Millennials, but that appears to have tapered off.

Politically, what is happening in CO is similar to what has happened in CA. Conservative Whites left, and liberal Whites remained behind or moved in. As nonwhites (mostly hispanics) quickly began to electorally and geographically displace the Whites, the latter responded by either leaving or becoming even more rabidly anti-racist.

This is not a surprising reaction, because it reflects an all too common Stockholm Syndrome attitude toward racial displacement:

"If I overtly express my support for the beaners, they will treat me well and the other liberal Whites won't exile me for wrongthink."

If that's what Kavanaugh wrote or implied, then he's basically saying what all of us are thinking: that too much of our national policy is being foisted on the judiciary to decide.

Which is correct, but also highlights the sheer unlikelihood of Congress legislating anything that directly benefits White America. Congress' inability to do its job is not so much the result of institutional inertia as it is the consequence of an upside-down judaized morality that prevents the passing of common sense legislation.

Who is more anti-social? The man driving the oversized pickup truck with the pissing Calvin sticker on it, or the woman screaming at you like a banshee for saying trannies should not be public school teachers?

      I see anti-social people everywhere.

Over 40% of food packaged and sold in the US is kosher.

jews are 2% of the US population.

In effect, Whites are paying a jew tax on their grocery purchases that they did not want nor vote for.

      Whites are paying the Jewzya.

I wonder if, at this point, the MAGA red cap does nothing but signal performative spitefulness, and that this perception of neutered rebellion encourages leftoids of either sex but mostly women to make public spectacles of themselves lashing out at MAGA hat wearing White dudes.

If White men were to, instead, brazenly occupy the public square in Hugo Boss SS aesthetics and a happy smile, it would signal intent of purpose, and some of these crazy White women might be more circumspect when confronted by their presence.
