My concern is that Claudia Sheinbaum, whom jmedia is feverishly seeking to preemptively anoint as Mexico’s first Jewish (and female!) president, will bring this issue to a breaking point.
Even if Ms. Sheinbaum does not have nefarious designs of her own–and I will presume out of charity that she does not–is there any question that certain Jewish elites in the West will attempt to suborn her presidency for their own purposes?
My concern is that they will cajole her, they will persuade her, they will insinuate themselves into her circle, they will convince her that their influence is needed to protect her, they will appeal to her as a fellow member of the tribe, they will bribe her, &c.
