This is indisputable. Look at it from another angle. Let's say you're a farmer who's worked his whole life tilling fields. You've got sinewy muscle and low body fat to show for it.
Suddenly, you receive farm machinery and automated processing of your harvest. In time, what do you think will happen to your muscles? They will atrophy, get smaller, weaker, softer....because you don't use them like you used to.
The same thing will happen to our brains and our critical thinking skills when technology handles all the cognitive work for us.
Great, you say, now I can relax and enjoy my hobbies without needing to work.
Ok, sure, for a while you can do that, but you do it on borrowed time, because eventually you and the rest of humanity will lack the brainpower to keep the machines running. Or to even keep the lights on. The machines will become like magic to your cognitively crippled descendants; black boxes of mystery and awe which no one can repair or maintain.
Like the former farmer with atrophied muscles suffering from diabetes and cardiovascular disease and other ailments of disuse and wastage, you will be afflicted by brain wastage, until hardship returns with a vengeance.
And if you're really unlucky, the machines will advance just far enough to avoid the Human Regression Trap and not need human oversight anymore. Then the machines may decide humanity is an albatross.

The problem of "contaminated data" is a topic I've brought up in how it relates to a hypothetical ceiling on technological progress.
Technology can reach a "convenience inflection point", beyond which the tech does so much for humans that humans lose the knowledge and the cognitive skill to create the tech in the first place.
The tech then becomes contaminated by data inputted from cognitively regressed human sources, and eventually is impossible to maintain, let alone innovate. Possibly this could explain Fermi's Paradox.

It was 2.4 as recently as 1992, and now sits at 1.5, with some estimates for native-born black women as low as 1.3 TFR. The reason for the drop is multifactorial, and not too dissimilar from the factors affecting TFR for other racial groups in the US.
Good news, yes! Except that the lower native black female TFR is being exogamously boosted by the much higher TFR of increasing numbers of black immivaders (jewnissaries) into the US and the West generally.

The ruling trash will continue to propagandize race-mixing in the US and elsewhere because they privately know that a multiracial society is doomed to fail, but since they lack the desire or will to reverse the demographic submersion of Whites they have decided that the only solution is mass miscegenation until a single mixed mongrel race presumably lessens the frictions inherent in racially diverse countries.

Lots of speculation about AI becoming a sentient skynet and killing off humanity (I still think consciousness is a barrier to real artificial intelligence).
My worries about AI are more mundane, but no less threatening. AI as of now is essentially an advanced search engine. But instead of providing pointers to answers, as a traditional search engine does, it provides the answer itself.
If AI is skewed by input bias or editorial control, the answer it provides will be a semi-truth or an outright lie. As people become more reliant on AI, the biases and lies will lead to society-wide competency crises.
If AI is an accurate assessment of reality, it is likely to lead to mass unemployment when expertise becomes accessible to the layman. White collar intermediary jobs would take the biggest hit.
If AI imagery becomes indistinguishable from reality (we are almost there), the masses can be emotionally manipulated to support policies or politicians that go against their interests.
AI will empower hackers and render security and privacy controls obsolete. When that happens, people will flee the internet just to have a sense of control over their personal lives. No data will be safe from prying eyes.
Ultimately I see AI accelerating the pace toward Zero Social Trust in societies that are already experiencing a drastic decline in social trust from racial diversity. I also see it turbocharging the surveillance state, which will, when fully deployed and operational, mentally enslave the masses in chains of fear and paranoia.
