Devon Stack did an episode on this topic of Franklin's views on race and immigration to the fledgling America. Franklin was racialist in a way that is an artifact of his time, when "race" more closely aligned with "ethnicity" and the "out-group" was Continental EuroWhites a hundred miles inland of Ye Olde England.
Franklin could not conceive of a "nation" such as we labor under today; teeming with races from the four corners of the globe. If he came back alive to see what his nation -- and the ancestral land of his Anglo-Saxon forebears -- had become, he'd have been a lot more precise with his editorial inputs to the Declaration and the Constitution to enunciate that America was and forever will be a nation of free White people.
At the very least, Franklin in 2026 would be apt to broaden his racial loyalties to encompass most Euro-descended Whites, out of sheer expedience to the racial reality on the ground. As the meme goes, "We are different" "OOGA BOOGA" "We are more alike than previously thought."
Another thing to keep in mind about Franklin's writings on race is that the terms he uses don't carry quite the same meaning to how we use those terms today. Franklin said Germans and Scandinavians are "swarthy"; which in his time would be an understandable perception, since both groups are a bit ruddier than English Whites (but just try to explain to a nigger that Swedes are less white than Englishmen because the former evolved in a sunnier climate).
In contrast, the globalization of our modern racial perceptions has shifted the connotation of "swarthy" to describe Middle Eastern Caucasians, or Deep Med Whites. No one would describe Germans or Swedes as swarthy today.
Also, Franklin perhaps possessed some antipathy to the Irish when he described them as swarthy; on the basis of skin color alone, the Irish are the whitest race on earth.

This works...in a particular societal context. But that's not the context we inhabit today. A man who does that today is begging to be fleeced or cruelly dumped into the friendzone.

I believe this theory (your theory?) has a lot to commend it, but I keep returning to an older social shaping mechanism that started Whites down the road of anti-racism, deracination, and out-group bias: the twin evolutionary selection events that occurred within the Hajnal Line, namely manorialism and the Church's ban on cousin marriage.
I think there is convincing evidence that these social inventions changed Northwest European White genes, enough so that they are now a race wholly distinct from the rest of humanity, and unique in that their shared universalist psychology is leading them on a path to self-annihilation.
Removing fault (thanks, Reagan) incentivized a lackadaisical attitude toward marital fidelity, both physical and emotional. Interestingly, feminist groups opposed no-fault divorce, perceiving it to open an avenue for "male chauvinists" to evade responsibility for their role in marital dissolution.
I suspect that if fault-divorce returned to the US, there would be an initial shock as the marriage market adjusted to the stricter terms of engagement, but in time divorce rates would decline as marriages became stabler due to selection effects and to behavior modification.
Not coincidentally, the social forces unleashed by no-fault divorce led to degeneracies like gay marriage, industrial abortion, and women en masse in the workforce.
It only seems like "psychological tricks" to the domesticated modren man who has lost touch with his ancestral masculinity.
Male charisma isn't a series of psychological tricks; it is a masculine trait, one which we in the West have progressively abandoned through sheer neglect or belittlement by those who have an agenda to dissolve the seductive virtues of the White Man.
Part of the reason White men face such a bleak dating market scene is that they have imbibed false notions of netflix masculinity while rejecting their ancestors' ideas of organic masculinity.
Yes, in a fully operational patriarchy wtih heavy fatherly oversight of courtships there would not be nearly the same urgency for young White men to master intersexual social dynamics, but since we don't live in that society (in fact, we live in its opposite, the judeo-gynarchy) we have to adapt to reality, and part of that adaptation is (re)learning ancient codes of masculine vim that would substitute for duels and jousting.
