Constitutional conventions gave black men the vote throughout the South, and blacks were installed by Northerners in Southern city and state councils.

  If the implications of Albion's Seed are correct, then White solidarity will be hard to come by in America because the founding stock of the nation was ethnically fractured from the beginning.

  Yeah, there is some kind of primal sociosexual reason White women like to claim that a celebrity nonwhite woman is attractive. It might be consensus signaling, but just as plausibly it's attractive White women glazing unattractive brown women because they know those brown women are no real sexual competitive threat to them. So it's all social status upside for White women.
