This was a big debate in the last comment section. My view is you can’t convince a woman you are right, you can only convince her you are powerful. When you are winning, women submit to you unreservedly. When you are losing, there is no reasoning with them.
Women don’t have much agency here, they align with winners over losers the same way men choose young, thin over old, fat. There’s little agency involved because its a survival and replication instinct with very little wiggle room for consideration. You don’t persuade them, they just side with you when you win.
Of course, they should suffer full consequences for their actions as those with the least agency need immediate and consistent negative reinforcement as the only way they can possible learn and change.

Providing actual benefits to a limited electorate is HARD. It’s far easier to pick a group that doesn’t have the vote, give it to them, and then champion their “rights” by taking stuff from the original electorate to give to them.
First they give they imported the Irish to get new voters. Then they gave the ex-slave groids the vote. Then they gave women the vote. Then Indians. Then Chinese. Then they imported more Europeans. Now they’re importing half the effing planet.
Democracy provides an irresistible incentive to import new voters and win them over by looting the natives. It’s got the worst kind of treason built into its politics.
