Low fertility secular jews replenish their ranks through defectors from high fertility orthodox jews, who as a group have an attrition rate around 30%.
When orthodox jews defect to join secular or religiously liberal jewry, they promptly take up the attitudes and politics of secular jews.
I don't know if orthodox jewish attrition sufficiently boosts secular jewish fertility. Secular jews have a very low fertility rate, around 1.3, so orthodox defectors might not be numerous enough to help secular jews reach replacement fertility. Historically, though, this population exchange dynamic between lower fertility cosmopolitan jews and higher fertility religious jews has long been used to prevent the fertility collapse of secular jewry.

I didn't get into it, but evolution in an environment of widespread contraception use would also work on men, probably selecting for men who have an equally strong desire for family formation and for women who are low probability infidelity/cuckoldry risks.
It's very possible that a "Handmaid's Tale" sort of world could erupt from the fertility collapse of the Birth Control Pill World, in which men steer the reproductive renewal through sheer patriarchal force. Part of that package deal might be fathers exerting a much bigger role in choosing suitors for their daughters, as it used to be in Medieval Europe.
Interestingly, strict paternal guidance of daughters' available male suitors is a backdoor way to ensure genetic similarity of the resulting couplings, understanding that fathers are far more likely than are daughters to choose suitors from among a set limited by geographic, cultural, and ethnic closeness.

You're right. The biggest fertility drops worldwide are among women aged 15-19, followed by women aged 20-24. Researchers say that smartphone adoption and social media are the primary cause of the drop, but I think it's more directly the result of cheaper and better contraception reaching all corners of the earth.
Which allows us to conjecture about the future of those societies where the Pill, abortion, and other contraceptive technologies remain permament fixtures of the culture. (And also where social media and smartphones almost exclusively occupy the attentions of young women.)
Women who, for whatever reasons (religious restrictions, low (or high!) impulse control, desire for marriage and children at an earlier age, strong moral feelings against casual sex), eschew contraception will be the ones to pass on their genes in greater number, winning the Darwinian sweepstakes.
Basically, a contracepted world will inevitably shift evolution toward favoring the fitness of women who deeply desire children and the partner intimacy that goes with it. Knock-on effects of that shift include fewer women in post-high school education, fewer women on corporate career tracks, and more women marrying and getting pregnant at younger ages.
It will also encourage women to heed more discriminating and serious mate choice criteria, because the ever-present looming spectre of pregnancy will require the fastidious avoidance of unreliable cads or men who by their relatively higher SMV pose a greater risk of "pump and dump" abandonment.

Definitely might be something to that theory. Prosperity and comforts of modernity diminish the urgency to have children by mooting the subconscious calculation of their assistance in the parents' old age.
Honestly, the global decline in fertility (except in sub-saharan Africa) is one of the great mysteries of our age. Every theory to explain it that I've read makes sense to me. Maybe it's as simple as humans grasping on an instinctive primal level that the world is overpopulated and to avoid Malthusian horrors humanity has decided, en masse through mechanisms we don't understand yet, to curb childbearing?
I don't know for sure, but I do know that this selection event we are experiencing is guaranteed to evolutionarily advantage those women with very strong maternal instincts.
Women who love getting pregnant and love raising children, regardless of economic or cultural circumstance, will fill the ranks of humanity in the not too distant future.
Unless some....interventions....were to occur. Such as, for example, a complete and total prohibition on contraception and career tracking for young women.

But like the dragon chased by heroin junkies, social media addicts must resort to increasingly degenerate posts to garner more and more likes to slake their egos. That’s why we are at the point where people can openly express their delight at an elected official being shot over politics, and nobody bats a fucking eye.

It sure is. I speak from experience during my brief FB days. This was also pre-RP too. I would post stuff solely for the sake of getting that most-sought after “like” click. I foolishly put too much emphasis on getting that like, mainly from actual friends, acquaintances of me–i.e. people I knew and had met in person.
Sure, it was always nice to get a like from someone I barely knew, but it wasn’t that important to me.
It’s a false equivalency of thinking you’ve “done something.” It’s the vacuous, wide-open gate of acceptance. It’s virtual bullshit. Last year someone trolled me on twatter, pinning that tweet, as though it was some conquest or some great victory, just because people liked his tweet. It wasn’t anything serious, but the fact that guy thought it was an accomplishment was what was so troubling.
There really is no country for old men.

Season 2 of tv show “Black Mirror” has an episode with Ron Howard’s daughter (look it up) in which social media approval determines one’s placement in the social order. Really good watch. Recommended.
