  1. I hate this guy, read one of his trash scifi novels and when I saw how much of a chump he was, it made sense.

This ‘guy’ wants to rewrite history to leave out our sexist, patriarchy past, nothing new there really, but has a major ykw face.

You can’t rewrite history. There are ruins from past civilizations in the deserts and the woods and the jungles and the plains.

      • The main stream media rewrite history all the time.

They even used fake images to have us believe almost no one showed up at Trump’s inauguration.

Hollywood rewrites history all the time, they now have tens of millions of people believe that without 3 black women the USA could have not send men to the moon.

University professors rewrite history all the time, that is why most white liberals hate their own race, culture and history.

Lying and cheating unfortunately is part of human nature, it is actually a HUGE part of human nature, which is why most of everything around us is based on something false.

        @Canadian Friend

No one, in his heart of hearts, believes that 3 black women are capable of ANYTHING.

I had no idea who this guy was till you and Vox started in on him. But as someone who has been involved with the publishing field, I will say this: The problem isn’t Scalzi per se, but the people who run the industry who give authors like him book deals. If you deal with people inside that field, you’ll find female “agents” (gag) and editors so didactic and feminist it will seem like you stepped into a nightmare.

How did this happen?! Literature used to be the field of Hemmingway, Steinbeck, Salinger and other greats. Now it’s degenerated into readable soap operas by and for women.

How and why are a small group of women deciding who does and doesn’t get published? They’re a bunch of creepy Ivy Leaguers with barren wombs and barren brains. They’re making Young Adult novels advertisements for BLM and Planned Parenthood. This is what needs to change. Taking on Scalzi is like picking at a sore when the whole body is suffering from AIDS. It might temporarily feel good, but there are bigger issues at hand.

He wishes he is in his early 30s, he is in his late 40s. With the body of a 60 year old woman.

The Senate ordered a study on this to confirm that Men and women are equal in strength. The USArmy conducted the study by selecting a group of women volunteers to go through a massive strength training regimen meant to bring these women up to the strength of men, proving that it’s possible. At the end of the study, these women who’d committed a substantial amount of time to lifting heavy weights and bulking up, were tested.

The top 10% were now as strong as the bottom 10% of Men in the Army. You can’t strength-train women into Men.

(You also can’t “educate” people into being intelligent and thoughtful)

See what happens when you try to make laws and standards off of the exception, as though it somehow disproves the rule? You get John Scalzi as an internet personality and “author.” I wonder in what other fields and in what other demographics this tried and proven dynamic applies to? Exceptions always prove the rule.

Pinterest, etc. are rife with memes about being strong (not just strong for a girl).

I am strong for a girl. Pulled 350# twice the other day. Bench my body weight. My husband works long hard days, can’t make the gym as often as he’d like. After the hol Days we went for a workout. Completely cold and seven weeks out of gym, he pulls 325# no sweat and puts up a 1.5x BW bench without even trying.

Men are always stronger than women. If a woman is stronger than you, consider where you’re going wrong.

To be fair, that rich midget guy from game of thrones is probably doing alright, and he may not be as strong as his (I assume) 6ft Victoria secret model girlfriend.

Men are also more variable than women, which means that there will be some incredibly strong men, but most women will be similar to each other. Look at the pic and how spread the blue dots are, and how concentrated the green dots are.

This variability among males is present for many other qualities, including size and IQ. Which is why almost all geniuses are men.
