The 2014 Chart Of The Year

Public sector jobs and government stimulus are essentially a wealth confiscation and transfer from men to women:

The fantasy: War On Women.

The reality: War On Men.

  1. Arbiter says:

A wise man wrote in the 1990s that eventually half the population would pay for the other half, who would give their votes to the politicians who made it so. I thought it was an exaggeration, but now….

    • Libertardian says:

      http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/01/still_the_last_best_hope.html

“America remains, in spite of the left, the Last Best Hope of Man.”

      Bad news, Man: you’re fucked.

    • juro says:

the national debt is several trillion dollars because the fed prints money from thin air to pay all these “public servants.”

when and how will that get paid?

      • Carlos Danger says:

The federal payroll is small compared to the total level of expenditure- maybe 10%. About 70% goes on entitlements- Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and welfare. The government sees federal jobs and programs that create them as patronage, however, which is what drives the increase in government most of all.

As men are dropping out or being forced out of the workforce, it will increasingly fall to female unwed corporate drones to bear the tax burden in the future. By 2020 expect to see a growing resentment of women in the workforce who are working overtime to advance their careers – and whose taxes will be subsidizing the ability of low-income mothers to have children with their taxes while the reproductive train passes them by.

Thus will the Feminine Imperative undermine the advances of corporate feminism. You can already see it starting to bubble forth in advertising around Christmas. The “crazy single aunt” with a Real Job overcompensating for her empty life with an excess of consumerism, with those who had families instead standing around in pity. There is no glory here, and everyone knows it. Even the most successful corporate feminist still fails to measure up under the eternal eye of the Feminine Imperative, and it is felt no more strongly than around the holidays.

Meanwhile, back at Man Camp, a bunch of dudes suddenly have access to the internet and a whole lot of time on their hands. What an excellent opportunity for reflection on masculinity and the role it plays in their lives. What an unparalleled chance to experiment with the bounds of their own self-knowledge and consider the potential risks and rewards of daring to pursue a goal, instead of a woman.

Some will go MGTOW. Some will sink back into sulking solitude. Some will wail at their loss of status and fortune. Some will embark on strange journeys they never could have contemplated in their youth. Some will redefine their goals and objectives according to their own happiness and interests, now that they are bereft of a cube and a steady paycheck.

Feminism sees corporate achievement as victory, without understanding the costs. Because when that last egg drops, and the precious few you have in the freezer start to get freezer-burnt, then they’ll realize with a sudden, stark flash of insight that they have been duped, and duped good. No one cares about the crazy single aunt with the great job in the city. She’s largely irrelevant to everyone but herself. As the Feminine Imperative rewards relevancy to others, and punishes excessive narcissism (even as it uses it), the sense of personal estrangement sets in.

Head of what? Assistant director to who? Did you see that painting Jason did for his senior project? Did you see that Rhonda got engaged? Nice young man, too. Maybe someday . . . but no, that’s not your life, is it? More gingerbread? Nancy and the kids made it themselves!

    It’s just sad.

Women are amusing sometimes. Seriously, that is shiv of the highest order.

That would be nice, but I suspect TPTB would prefer KZs and slave labor.

Is not Jessica Valenti’s recent diatribe about wrapping presents really just a way to signal to other women her status as a wife and mother? Oh women’s inhumanity to women.

    It,s ‘Goodbye australia’

    • SpartanTom says:

      Bring back Howard!

      • Mean Mr. Mustard says:

        Because?
As far as leaders go, John Howard (Australia’s Prime Minister from March 1996 to December 2007) was a myopic populist who’s sole aim was to stay in power as long as possible.
Howard’s government became synonymous with ”middle-class welfare” and they squandered a once in a lifetime mineral resources boom.

  5. Greg Eliot says:

    Two words: Underground Economy

Learn a trade… or two… or three… wheel and deal in some specialty niche… craigslist is your friend, for a start.

    • Arbiter says:

I have a friend with a very advanced job involving molecular physics and computer models. At the same time he bought a large machine to operate metal with. He figured he could learn to e.g. make the metal parts in doors, just in case it would be needed at some point. Took four of us to carry the damn thing on and off the truck and it still nearly broke our backs, but it was worth it. Creating something lasting with your own hands, that is something all men should do. Even if you live in a city, find a way to build something.

      • Greg Eliot says:

I’m guessing you mean a Bridgeport Milling machine… they’re like having a license to print money, once you know what you’re doing and have the needed tooling and fixtures. Well-done.

    • mendozatorres says:

Agreed. Or as the old 80s commercial would tout: be all that you can be. But do it for yourself.

“It’s about how you hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. It’s about how much you can take and keep moving forward.”

  6. gunslingergregi says:

only a 2 percent spread with all that stimulus I think there is a deeper meaning going on

    • gunslingergregi says:

what is the total amount of men they talking about and total woman

    • blacksheep says:

Where are you seeing the 2% spread? The lines are plotted against two different axis. Men (left). Women (right).

      • gunslingergregi says:

71 to 73 percent left and 57 to 58.5 right
        doesn’t seem to show shit
        am I wrong
        someone explain the shit

  7. SFG says:

Well said, sir. I will link to this profusely.

  8. Roger Wilco says:

You can’t really attribute causation to the stimulus based on this chart because it doesn’t have pre-2008 data to show what the pre-stimulus trends looked like. Also, this chart is for Australia, right?

  9. Mean Mr. Mustard says:

  10. jjbees says:

Lol the scaling on that graph is a joke. What HUGE trend when it’s like 1%.

    • Lumpy says:

      For serious.

I’m sure there are a dozen interesting stats on wealth transfer between genders, but this isn’t one of them. These plots are basically flat if graph is scaled correctly.

  11. Exurban says:

Agree with the point of this post, but can’t resist a little bit of new year cheer. The economy is going to improve in the short term. It always does when energy prices drop, and they’ve just been cut in half inside the last six months. Within a few months we are going to see unemployment drop in most developed countries. The last time this happened was in 1999, when $16 oil was followed by a boom, but I’m old enough to have seen it several times. Happy 2015!

  12. jack arcalon says:

And the best part is that it is a fully colorblind war on men.
If you’re a GOP-voting, suit-wearing, salaried office drone who just happens to be black, the IRS will audit you just as hard.
In fact their flagging software is set up so that they don’t even know their victim’s race, national origin, or genderqueer status.

    • Mieszko I says:

Unless, you’re a tea-party organization. The audit rate on those groups was almost magical.

  13. Mark says:

Public sector jobs are often like a hidden form of welfare for middle class women. The advantage of public sector jobs over the type of welfare that ghetto single moms get is that white middle class women can work those jobs and pretend to themselves that they aren’t really on welfare and aren’t like those ghetto moms. Getting worthless college degrees is often the first female step towards to a make work government job and a lifetime of voting Democrat.

  14. Anonymous says:

Male-Female revenue disparity only increased by a measly 0.5% annual rate.

See, fellow frogs, news of boiling water are grossly exaggerated.

    oink

  15. al says:

“Public sector jobs are often like a hidden form of welfare for middle class women.”

Actually the main beneficiary of public sector jobs has been middle class white men by a long shot.

    overpaid police, firemen
completely wasteful and idiotic War on Drugs to justify police state jobs for white men: DEA, corrections, courts, etc……
    “government contractors”

and don’t forget the big one ……the military – intelligence complex !

bloat beyond belief so much so that it now has create wars and false flags in order to justify the gravy train fro rich and middle class white men.

    • olympiapress says:

Nah, the biggest expenditure at local levels, by far, is education, something like $600 billion, almost four times the total amount spent on police and fire. Women absolutely dominate the schools–in addition to teachers, you’ve got the guidance counselors, the junior vice principals for diversity, the “support staff” whose numbers dwarf the actual teachers..

Problem’s even worse than noted. The “one-time stimulus” never ended. It became a part of the budget baseline. They’re not spending money on bridges and roads anymore, food stamps are being cut, no more 99-week unemployment benefits, but the Departments of Education, Energy and HHS all have these massive, massive slush funds they use to fund various “non-profits” which just happen to be politically connected.

This is why UVA had three separate campus rape crisis centers, despite almost no actual rapes. If it wasn’t for that extra trillion in pork under Obama, there’d be a lot fewer bitchy white women employed today. And, sadly, they could’ve just given $40k a year to the poorest 20 million households, done more for the economy, and saved a couple hundred bil.

Be interesting, the budget hasn’t grown since the Republicans took over. It hasn’t shrunk, either, as was hoped. But without federal spending increasing 7% a year or whatever it’s been, DC, MD and Virginia have all gone into recession. If they ever do slash it, women’s employment is gonna drop to levels not seen since the ’50s. Interesting times.
