Fairly or not, the term “capitalism” has become associated with rapacious corporatism, a system that strip-mines entire nations of everything that’s good and exalted, and replaces that with McDonalds and Miley Cyrus.
In fairness, “Kapitalismus” was an anti-Western slur popularized by the jew Karl Marx. I prefer the term “Mercantilist Fascism”.

True, PA. While I’m in favor of private property and meaningful free enterprise, what we have today is a monstrosity. The take home point is that our current system isn’t really free, rather it favors certain outcomes over others. It’s a “free” market that obviously favors a relative handful of mega banks and giant corporations. In other words, it’s a de facto oligarchy. Ever so slowly, there seems to be some awakening to that reality, even on the right.
Instead, let’s favor what serves the long term interests of the citizenry. Instead of favoring giant corporations/mega banks, the legal, regulatory and tax structures should promote small and medium sized businesses.
And for those businesses that really do need to be large, and no doubt many do, favoring those that are employee-owned could be a good thing. In fact, favoring all sorts of cooperatives (private), from consumer co-ops to credit unions, would be important. Throw in honest money and a balance of trade policy, and something pretty awesome could emerge. Namely, an economy based on real productivity and wealth creation as opposed to one of swindles, frauds and rackets. Needless to say, YKW need not apply.
There is absolutely no good reason that a handful of banks on Wall Street should control, profit from, and mediate virtually every economic transaction in the entire country – yet they do. The financialization of the economy has been a disaster. Buy a cup of coffee or a copy of the local dishrag, and Wall Street gets its cut. They have to dip their beaks.
But none of it really matters until we have a land of our own where the protection of our people and culture comes first, and well in front of short term profits. Without that commitment, trust inevitably collapses – as we have observed just over the course of our own lifetimes. Eventually the economy goes with it – which we apparently have front row tickets for. I’d buy some popcorn, but I suppose Wall Street/YKW will get their cut of that, too.
To twist Franklin, those who put profits in front of their race deserve neither, and in the end will have neither.
Separation is the only solution.
