That is not true. Or at least it is lacking any important context. Domestic violence rates are roughly the same between male and female perpetrators, but female victims tend to suffer more severe injuries because male perps are stronger.

In general, using YouTube as a method to detect changes up or down in something is unreliable. Before it existed, you had no idea what most people were up to, but with YT, it’s easy to be a fly on the wall. So there’s no way to compare the clearer present to the hazier past.
