In blue, the Second Whorewoman of the Apocalypse, Severing. Her skull and scissors symbolize the severing of Fornication from Reproduction, Sex from Love, Race from Posterity, and Life from Death. She is mortal pride, and her bounty is Pills, condoms, penicillin, and infertility.
In red, the Third Whorewoman of the Apocalypse, Folly. Her wine glass and backless dress are the accoutrements of unbound pleasure, symbols of indifference to Time and Temperance. She is the patron siren of urban powersluts and aging beauties blinded by egotism to the Silent Coming of the Wall.
Red, white, and blue. America the Whoreson.
America may indeed be the whore of Babylon spoken about Revelations.
At any rate, our current condition seems heading in that direction.

the woman in white makes a point. There is something very unattractive about abortions. The anti abortion groups tend to focus on babies although sometimes they show how dreadful abortions are to the objections of the left. If I found out even a very attractive woman had an abortion done, I would lose any interest in her. It’s just too sterile and inhuman. Nothing should be dying in there.

That’s an understatement. The real purpose of a woman is as a childbearer. I theorize that the only true love a woman can ever have is for her children. So a woman who aborts has denied her essence as a woman and rejected the love of her own child. Women who hate children are not women at all. Obviously you instinctively know how disordered and unnatural women like this are.

I have to agree. A woman’s only instinct is the protection of her children. When she denies that, she has more or less denied her humanity.

I often wonder what it would have been like to grow up in a society free from porn, and exposure to highly sexualized imagery, as is right now in the modern world. It must make for a much healthier and satisfying sexual life, and probably less people suffering from mental issues.

Those of us who are 50 or older have grown up in such a society.
It made us appreciate having sex with a woman much MUCH more than a young man of today who has seen thousands of naked women on the internet doing every imaginable thing from being fisted to having group sex.
when I was a kid my mother and father let us eat chips and have soft drinks only on Saturdays, that made this a huge event and made chips and soft drink taste like heaven.
We could not wait for Saturday and we really appreciated every bite and every sip.
had my parents provided us with gallons of soft drinks everyday and dozens of bags of chips everyday, we would have quickly become bored and would have not appreciated what we had.
Today’s abundance has some benefits but also some very bad sides to it
today’s young people are bored with everything – including sex – because they have too much of everything, they have easy access to almost everything.
it is because nothing is a thrill to them that they need to pierce their face, get a new tattoo on top of the 27 they already have or dye their hair 3 different colors at once.
I don’t know where this will end but we are looking more and more like the Roman empire where pleasure, instant pleasure was all that counted ( people made them selves vomit so they could eat delicious food again and again )

I’m sure we could still reboot our society to still be prosperous, but measured in its consumption habits, and placing value not solely on material things, but also on things that were (and are) important in the past for the majority, like family, friends, healthy relationships, traditions, etc.

My folks did the same with us regarding soda and junk food in general. It was only a Friday and Saturday deal. And like you said, it was something to look forward too.
Yes, too much saturation of porn and images of naked women has affected many a man, especially the younger men who grew up in the era of streaming porn.
I recall trying to affect the TV settings on the HBO channel that came in noisy to catch a glimpse of some titties during late night programming. All these younglings have to do is a quick search and they’ve got thousands upon thousands of videos to choose.

Really? Is this a standard we apply to women, but don’t apply to ourselves? I’m not looking for consistency, I’m genuinely curious about this POV.
I say this because… I fully intend to fuck without actually making a baby. Duh.
I’m a (lessor) player… that’s what we do. Fucking is not about producing spawn.
I have no problem with “double standards,” I’m just not sure how to place myself within this discussion… as I’m a game devotee… and not so I can “wife it up” anytime soon.

I am curious about this perspective… I’m listening.
Game is not “opening level,” as most men never learn to play at all. We know that. Maybe Game is a “side game” for men, one not every man finds or has the stones to play.
But perhaps the suggestion is that “men that can” ought not, and should curb their own opportunity, sacrifice, for the greater good.
But I still think this is *wink, wink, nod, nod.* I think if you know… you’re not supposed to take this literally. It doesn’t apply to those that “know.”
Just like “paying taxes.” Of course we need some tax for public programs, roads and such. And “everyone should pay taxes.” But the truly powerful are great at not paying taxes, and “averge joe” dutifully pays… or goes to jail. So Joe’s taxes (and sacrifice) keep the machine moving, and the player continues to take what he wants… but he is a small %, so the machine functions just fine.
And maybe this is the same “wink, wink” moment.
“Sacrifice” (wink, wink)… and the player nods his head, and bangs away in private space.
