The unintended consequences of intervention by homo economicus in the natural order of things materialize in sweeping effects (Communism), and sometimes in what can seem superficially trivial ways: Daylight Savings Time is bad for your health. And health improves once the clock is returned to Standard Time.
Revelations like this one are just more confirmation of the CH axiom that the further humans distance themselves from their evolved predispositions (in this case, from sleeping and waking to their biological circadian rhythms and losing an hour), the worse off their well-being.
The God of Biomechanics always has the last word.

[…] It’s Time To End Daylight Savings Time […]

The very idea is absurd, as one’s need for sleep is genetically determined ( my parents told me that my nurse had to wake me to feed me).
My sleep is sacred to me, and I will not have a bureaucrat telling me when to go to bed or when to get up. (Some of the green people – who clearly belong to another species – believe one should go to bed at sunset, and get up at sunrise! What lunacy! I can think of a well-known: ‘nutritionist’ – clearly unbalanced – who advocates this, and is, of course, a socialist- dislikes cars, fur coats, nightlife, meat – although he probably relishes a good piece of meat in bed.)

I am convinced that the REAL reason for its introduction way back and why it is still used is part of the ‘slow kill’ process we are being subjected to. Mess the entire nation’s circadian rhythms and potentially cause all sorts of health problems.

Doesn’t daylight savings just correct the human subjective temporal designation, eg 8 a.m. with the actual movements of the sun? So in other words you have managed to defeat your own argument? You are a fucking idiot.
[CH: think this thru before mouthing off. humans who have evolved at temperate latitudes likely would have adapted to seasonal changes in sunlight. this adaptation is disrupted in a modern context by time compressions and expansions.]

Russia experimented with Daylight Savings Time but now no longer uses it. Not sure why, however.

Also wear orange glasses at night, blocks blue light from screens, lights and whatever, that trick your eyes into thinking it is still daytime.
