TV is a big part of it but there are so many different mediums they use it is almost guaranteed that they will get your kids unless you leave society altogether. I finished high school a few years ago and it is pervasive. Instead of learning about Plato and Charlemagne kids these days learn about Emmeline Pankhurst and MLK.
