I don't think Catholics are the problem. I know this is Devon Stack's take…that 20th Century Catholic immigrants conspired with jews to bring WASP America low….but if one looks more closely at which Catholics teamed up with jews, the analysis gets clearer.

I was planning to write a labor-intensive Epoast on this topic, but instead I'll just drive-by the mfer. There were four major Catholic strains that immigrated to the US…Irish, German, Italian, and Polish. If you do a historical dive on the Catholic-jew political alliance in the US, you find an inordinate number of the Catholic surnames are Irish.

One can therefore infer that this was less a Catholic desire to upend WASPness, and more an example of an age-old ethnic conflict — Irish vs English — continuing by another name in a new land.

Seen through that lens, it becomes obvious why Irish Catholics expediently teamed up with jews…both wanted to kneecap the White English-ancestry power structure of America.

By way of contrast, the anti-immigrant Know Nothing Party was formed by a jew in the 1840s, and its main agenda was stopping Catholic immgration to the US by appealing to (justifiable) nativist sentiments in English-Americans.

Why? Well, because back then, White Catholics, especially from continental Europe, were the leading anti-semites of the day. And jews damned well knew this.
