I wonder why a woman would feel inclined to ever reveal that information to a man? I would imagine that a woman would want to keep that sordid personal history under wraps with a man she liked. In a way, a woman glibly confessing to an abortion is disrespectful to a man she is dating. It's as if she doesn't care what he thinks about her, or, worse, does care but assumes that all men think like her, which would not be an unreasonable assumption given the Open Air Simposium in which we all live and labor.
More darkly, a woman might expose the rot in her soul to a man she desires because it implicates him in her sin, if he refuses to judge her for it. And once implicated, she would feel no remorse should she abort HIS child after a change of heart.

I've thought for a while that religion provides evolutionary fitness benefits because it boosts fertility and it psychologically influences believers to think of the future and what they will leave behind, rather than to think in the present and carelessly disregard the society they will leave to future generations.
And now we have some research showing that is one of the benefits of religious belief in God.
Corollary: a decline in religiosity and an increase in secular areligiosity and atheism, as seen throughout the overdeveloped White West, will lower future time orientation and propagate "quick rewards" vices like greed and narcissism.
I am not at all surprised that greed and abject indifference to the fate of one's posterity are hallmarks of a society that is losing its religion.

The underlying reason SCROTUS voted to uphold indiscriminate birthright citizenship is that the nonwhite justices wanted to preserve their claim over a White land, and the White justices feared the repercussions of doing the right thing.

If SCROTUS takes up a Flock case on 4th Amendment grounds, I'd be curious how the judgements split. I'm not sure it's so clear-cut that the putative conservatives on the court strike down the legality of Flock surveillance.
I suspect the ruling would break along a male-female fault line.
