Vox points out that Donald Fucking Trump used a classic game tactic — the neg — on (former) supermodel (and mudshark) Heidi Klum, when he said “she’s great, but no longer a 10”.

You know a man is a mega alpha when a single casual neg directed in an offhand manner at a former supermodel results in two videos and multiple public statements as the woman desperately tries to qualify herself to him.

The tingle-stricken lady doth protest too much.

The sheer incoherence of Klum’s remarks underline the degree to which Trump’s dismissive remark rattled her. That, gentlemen, is how it is done. Identify the insecurity and casually press. You know you’ve hit the nerve when their reaction spans days.

The alpha does not qualify himself to women, ever. He expects women to qualify themselves to him.

ABQ: Always Be Qualifying.

Oh, and ladies, a helpful reminder: If you are a White woman of incomparable beauty, don’t throw your genetic heritage away on a coalburning “F YOU DAD” mission. When you get older and less attractive (as you assuredly will), people will feel less urgency to extend you kindness and deference because your family looks weird and they’ll have doubts about your character. Can I get a two-for-one ‘heh’? Heh.

(Trump’s remark actually straddles the line between a neg and an insult, although a man with as much preselected alpha goodness as Trump has more margin for error in this matter. Nonetheless, I’d still call it a neg, because he did butter her up first before delivering the backhanded compliment.)

Also from Vox, another demonstration of the power of Fame Game over women’s attraction triggers.

The best part about Game is watching a girl become “noticeably more interested” in you as you weave your biomechanic magic. It’s very satisfying, even apart from the normal anticipatory excitement that accompanies courtship.

  5. botch says:

The neg is interesting when you do it without thinking. Did you know that the “gut instinct” is something real?

Our internal organs have nerves inside them that react to new situations that we help to create when we take action outside of our comfort zones. In turn, we become battle harded to the reactions of women.

I did this the other day without thinking but was pleased with the result. I told a woman at a social function that she was a leader. First in line to get food but not to work. (She has a high level excutive position at a bank.)

Her younger sister jumped to her defense and told me that I was assuming a lot. But I could tell by the look in the woman’s eyes that she was thrilled with me because I did not kiss her round tight ass like the rest of the fools who bore her in everyday life. I am sure the entire household is discussing the matter. I could tell that her brother looked pissed. Next time I see her in another week or so I am sure that she will be ready to see what I have to say next. She will hang on to my every word.

    • More neggy: “She’s great, former 10.”

Conceptually the neg is a clusterfuck.

Neg is an insult, but so subtle it is plausibly deniable. It is a disqualifier. It is a reframe. It is only for very hot women. I think it is rhetorical mastery, an expression of finesse to complement frame that is well calibrated on multiple dimensions. Negs must be ‘unwrapped’.

  7. Starets says:

I’m a bit curious as to why Trump has to mention Klum at all… he’s in the middle of a campaign, not recruiting for the next Celebrity Apprentice.

If some snarky reporter brought her up out of the blue, just to try and get a “mudshark” reaction from him, well… I guess he handled that as best allowed, these days.

Although if that’s the case, I would have called the snark on it: “What does a former 10 have to do with anything?” Two birds with one stone.

      • The Straw That Stirs the Drink says:

see Arbiters post – Dowd “reported” on Trump’s statement made YEARS ago about Klum on the Howard Stern show… It was her attempt to backhand a shiv into a putative neutral piece on Trump TODAY… sneaky whore…

    to CH et al.:

bear with me if i’m treading game 101 [i’ve been reading up old posts on the neg]. still very much a newbie. As CH points out trump’s remark is technically borderline…? how distinguish well?

I assume if i, not being trump, had said that to a pretty girl, it’d be a straight up insult, right? it’d not have the ambiguity of a backhanded compliment…?

so, as a learning moment for myself, as a non-trump: would a “more proper” neg be something like:

    1. Heidi, for a 42yr old, you’re in amazing shape.
    2. Heidi, [if true or not] — i find it admirable and attractive that you’re not giving in to the fad of plastic surgery. you still look very nice…
    others?
assume that you’re not trump, and the forum isn’t public like theirs….

thoughts? my trouble, i feel, is i probably end up insulting rather than negging, even if i say it in a teasing way. which still isn’t good….

    but the analysis — ch’s & vox’s — is on the money.
    thx.

[CH: a less insulting reformulation of trump’s neg would go something like “heidi you look great, a more natural 9 instead of an airbrushed 10.”
(i think in her heyday heidi was airbrushed instead of shopped.]

    • Sentient says:

“You have a very… interesting profile” is one I use a lot. The ambiguity gets them. Not a nuclear neg, nice and subtle.

      • Benson says:

“You look very Gothic,” “You seem like a nerd” and other negs of this variety have served me well. As if on cue, the girl almost always replies with, “…And is that a good or a bad thing??!!!”

You know it worked when they verbalize their uncertainty.

    • tombreck2 says:

Neg can just mean not giving a betaboy schlub response:

      or

      2. She’s alright looking.

To rattle a woman, say something, anything, about her hair

[CH: or nothing at all, if she has recently gotten a new hairstyle. rattle rape!]

      • Noel says:

I suppose the classic structure is:

        1. Compliment
        2. Reversal

I’m thinking of the classic Mystery neg:

        “You look like a model.”
        [compliment]
        “A hand model?”
        [Reversal]

        So:

        “I like your hair.”
        “It’s interesting/weird/wild.”

i’m also thinking of CH-style negs, such as:

“you seem like a reserved girl. i get that impression about you.”

Thoughts? I think negs are difficult to master well, and if i ever did neg well, it’s been purely accidental.

When I was in college, I unintentionally proffered a neg while honestly (and autistically) answered a girl who asked me my opinion of her outfit (skirt, blouse, can’t recall). I answered, “You’re prettier than [other girl standing within earshot], but I like her better.” I received the full attention of both girls for the rest of the evening.

      • Noel says:

like with everything, i suppose the other tricky part is the delivery. CH rightly points out the sincere delivery, but to me it’s hard because i wouldn’t want it coming out as an insult, which the girl can easily dismiss. i guess the girl has to take the remark seriously on some level for it to work…too jokey, and the girl dismisses it, too…

      • shartiste says:

that’s a great asshole neg. Gonna field test it if I get a chance.

      • Ripp says:

With a 2 set of good looking women this is a killer gambit:

Pregnant pause. (Now here’s the beauty, it doesn’t matter how they respond or who responds, one of them will respond more expressively than the other, focus on that one and respond)

        “oh…you are lying”

it’s dynamite because whether she says she’s the good one, or the bad one, or calls her friend either of them…you can just call her a liar and comment the opposite.

“You’re not the good one I see the lil devil horns perking up on your head (kino plow)”

“No way. You look too goody 2 shoes, your friend is the real devil.”

I mean jesus fucking christ. Even if the Jews were not using “diversity” as a tactic of war to destroy white civilization (which they are), how can the left (which has become mainstream and required for corporate America) even pretend to think that diversity is important, at all?

People want to be with their own kind, including blacks (except of course every man wants to be with a naked white woman).

Diversity is bad in all ways, big and small. It’s simply not something to be sought even mildly, let alone praised, with a Chief Diversity Officers in every Cathedral corporation. Diversity equals war (actual physical danger for whites) as CH has pointed out. But even “small”: if I worked at GM, or any company, or where I work, I’d rather see as many attractive smart people with whom to work and have lunch with every day. Women should be at home being mothers, but if women are going to work, I’d rather see as many pretty ones as possible not like the people depicted in the propaganda at GM’s website.

“Diversity” religion has got to be stopped! Whites are the true minority, worldwide, by a wide margin. Blacks are only “minorities” here in our white nations, and we have to be subjected to the demoralizing shit that CH shows here every day. Fucking ridiculous. Almost too much to bear.

I’m not allowed to have a country of my own, even though my ancestors helped build one. The “greatest generation” and boomers really fucked up at an immeasurably high level, if you stop to think about it.

I and my generation were robbed of the opportunity to live in the country that our ancestors built for us. And it’s getting worse by the day, going up exponentially.

      Fuck this gay earth.

The child is teased and belittled by the other children AND ADULTS relentlessly and mercilessly, and no man in the village will speak with her. I imagine such natural responses are muted as one moves farther west towards the Atlantic, but the underlying opinion remains despite anti-racism speech restrictions.

      • Arbiter says:

The East Europeans were already occupied and controlled, so there was no need to brainwash them with cultural Marxism to control them. They just got to live in the dirt that was economic Marxism, with lakes poisoned and forests dying and gangsters an integral part of the system. While the West got the blessings of a normal economy, but then … you know. Hard to say which side got the worst deal.

      • tteclod says:

I was listening to a NPR interview (yeah, I know…) about a Jew, Julius Rosenwald, who founded several schools for black children in the former Confederacy (and not elsewhere?). There was a brief discussion of Jew-Black (LOL) alliance in that conversation. But what struck me was the plain hate and strategic undermining of the people who founded the Confederacy and rebelled against the masters of industry in the northern states.

The change funded by Rosenwald’s profits from selling crap to Americans in the Sears catalog. If you want a greater caution against falling prey to usury that Sears, it can’t be found. The Wikipedia summary is surprisingly revealing.

“In 1893, Richard Sears and Alvah C. Roebuck renamed their watch company Sears, Roebuck & Company and began to diversify. Rosenwald and Weil was a principal supplier of men’s clothing for Sears, Roebuck. The volumes of unsold merchandise caused by the Panic of 1893 and his declining health led Roebuck to leave the company. He placed his interest in the company in the hands of Sears who, in turn, offered that half of the company to Chicago businessman Aaron Nusbaum, who in turn brought in his brother-in-law Julius Rosenwald, TO WHOME SEARS OWED MONEY.” [Emphasis mine.]

I met with a potential client for whom I would obliged to expand my payroll to complete his work. Among many things the man proposed was that he pay me a large retainer so that I could capitalize my business for the effort. What any straight-thinking man will recognize is that accepting such a retainer would amount to a debt to be paid with labor – which is indenture without the protection of laws for indentured men. Much of our history (and here I mean the history of the men that founded the Confederacy and their descendants] is the story of resisting schemes to enslave us. What is better for a “white southern man”: owning slaves? No. It is sufficient freedom from obligations he doesn’t choose to enable him to choose obligations. No man is obliged to own another man; while that property right may include the labor of another man, it also carries the burden of his care and support. The “Jew” [and here I mean not a genetic heritage but an evil philosophy masquerading as a religion and ethnic group] seeks to enslave others to his will by weaving a web of obligations to the Jew by his victims. The most pernicious of these obligations is debt, but debts take many forms, including “moral duty,” “social justice,” “equity,” “fairness,” and other flowery language with meanings exactly opposed to the plain language in which they are written. So, Sears founded a company built in part on debt, and when he was unable to discharge that debt, was obliged to include his creditor into his business. That man, in turn, used the funds of Sears’ business to fund schools to promote (meaning: advance) an ethnic minority against a hated enemy in a defeated nation, as well as get his (Rosenwald’s) wares (off-the-rack un-tailored ill-fitted clothing) to a rural American and non-Jewish population at a substantial profit.

1893: Sears’ catalog sells only watches.
1895: Sears’ partners with his creditor, Rosenwald, a clothier manufacturing garments inferior, but cheaper, than the market standard.
        1897: Sears’ catalog includes garments.

Rosenwald’s life story and the history related to his life are a good starting point for people interested in how such things get started in the USA, and how our current cultural and economic situation became what it is.

Explain to me why in god’s fuck should any white person care about any kind of health issues in Africa? (rhetorical)

fuck this jew earth. every single thing the left has created is massively wrong at an infinite level. Not even being “cruel” (as a libtard would say) — it is simply nature and natural for one tribe to care only about its own. Even Disney nature movies show this (e.g., the one about chimpanzees shows warring between rival troupes over territory). Other libtard movies admit that the sainted “native americans” were busy warring with each other and eating each other and raping rival tribes’ women when the white man arrived in boats.

Africa is simply an easy question. Luckly, it is a whole ‘other continent far far away from North America, and it’s people cannot invent a wheel or written language, let alone a boat or airplane that can cross the ocean. And we don’t need jew diamonds or anything else they can trade (we don’t need them for food or anything else necessary for survival). So we don’t need to worry about any aspect of Africa, at all. We should simply pretend that Africa does not exist — no boats or planes in or out (other than to monitor that communists are not using their land to set up spy operations or whatever).

And this MSM Cathedral bullshit has this beautiful white model advertising for this shit

Why would we want to promote an added survival rate to an already way overpopulated continent of useless consumers who only take but never produce or give?

        We wouldn’t. It’s very simple.

“you shouldn’t put a number on women” “every woman is a 10”

[CH: that’s a woman for ya. contradictory incoherent thoughts don’t slow her down at all.]

    • Wilson says:

      10 is a feeling, not a number.

    • Arbiter says:

Damn, how I hate equalism. (As CH has renamed egalitarianism for our age.) People saying ridiculous feel-good things that they know are not true, and everyone has to pretend it’s true just to flatter everyone. That’s the age of democracy. Politicians have to do that to get votes, and so it starts at the top, spreads through the schools and to everywhere.

And so, of course, comes the conclusion: if everyone is equally great in every way, but some are still less successful in love live or career or art or elsewhere … that must be because of oppression. Carried out by the capitalists, the sexists, the racists, etc. There can be no other explanation, because inequality is ruled out.

      Here are true equalist arguments:

“Beauty standards are invented by the capitalists to sell!”

Why would they be? To sell what?

“Uh…Miss Universe is sponsored by the make-up industry, so that’s how they sell!”

Why would the make-up industry need Miss Universe to sell? If they can so easily shape people’s opinions of what’s beautiful, they could just make everyone obsess over faces completely plastered with make-up. That would sell more product. The body would be inconsequential. Hell, they could invent a belief that hands are only beautiful if they are painted.

“Uh…they want people to think thin is beautiful so they’ll sell diet products!”

The diet industry is recent, thinness as an ideal is much older. The diet industry is owned by food companies that would make much, much more money from making people believe that obesity is beautiful. And a company selling “wholesome grains” cannot compete with McDonald’s, Burger King and Coca-Cola when it comes to money. If we can be made to believe anything is beautiful simply by watching TV commercials, the fast-food industry would make people believe obesity is beautiful. But they don’t. They have slim people in their ads. Because they have to ACCEPT the beauty standard set by nature, since they cannot CHANGE it.

A short response shows the absurdity in the equalist claims about “no such thing as beauty” and “commercials make us think thin is beautiful to sell products”. But the equalists never think that far. It would be uncomfortable.

  19. whorefinder says:

Klum was never intelligent, diplomatic, or polished; I have been surprised she has retained her career and Q rating over the years. I assume she has a very smart handler/manager that keeps her nose to the grindstone. Klum’s flightiness from famous man to famous man –she has kids by multiple baby daddies–shows just how low class she is, despite the facade of glamour. She’d be shopping at a German WalMart if not for who ever is driving her career.

One example, from years bacK: she went on Conan O’Brien’s old NBC show years ago to promote a swimsuit calender. ( I believe that, hilariously, the entire calendar was her, and her alone). This was when she was trying to transition from “hot girl model” to a higher rank of celebrity.

In the “witty banter” with O’Brien, they talked about how “comfortable” she was with her body, and how she walked around nude at home, even in front of her parents as a teenager, and her parents did so in front of her. O’Brien made a joke about how horrifyingly weird that was, and Klum’s response was unplanned, nasty retort of: “Oh, you Americans are so repressed and uptight. You never see your parents naked? Not even coming out of the shower?”

You could see O’Brien actually get upset at this, because Klum was not-jokingly insulting Americans as a whole for not being as weird as Klum. So O’Brien next pulled out her calendar–the one she was promoting—and told her: “You know, your calendar literally gets some dates wrong” and proceeded to point out that her cheap, chintzy calendar put holidays on the wrong days.

Klum freaked out at this, and immediately disclaimed: “oh I was only in charge of the photos, not the date part!”

It’s one of the few times I can say that a lefty-hack-beta actually sacked up and defended America from the insults from a “cool European.” One of the few times I actually can think of that I liked what O’Brien did.

    Late Night Calendar rape!

    • ho says:

I doubt Heidi is actually stupid.

Also, good Job by Conan for sacking up.

      • whorefinder says:

I think she is genuinely low IQ. From that little story, we know her parents enacted some sort of low-level child abuse by exposing her to sexually-mature nudity. Such a mixed message at home versus in the world at large would warp a mind.

And her mudsharking is another indicator; women who not only go with blacks, but also advertise it, are generally low IQ.

I think one or both of her parents may have guided her career to this point. Since they manipulated her as youth through low-level abuse, they would be the likely culprits, just as I believe Lena Dunham’s parents run her career, not her, as they, too engaged in and encouraged (or at least did not discourage) abuse of their daughters.

        Svengali rape!

      • ho says:

        Nudity isn’t sex bro.

Also, Germany has a strong nudist streak.

      • whorefinder says:

Exposing anyone to sexual imagery without their preparation/consent is considered a crime in most places. Flashers are punished, as are anyone who exposes people to pornographic movies.

Yes, graphic nudity is sexual imagery. If you show a child pictures of nude men and women, you can be punished under sex crime laws. Forcing someone to go to a nude beach is a crime–not just the kidnapping, but the imagery is considered sexually disturbing if not welcomed.

At the risk of sounding like a lefty, consent matters.

By her story, Klum was a teenager viewing this, and her parents were viewing her. Meaning her adult parents were viewing the sexually mature body of a teen girl. That’s warped. Not Lena Dunham molesting-my-sister warped, but warped nonetheless.

The idea that “Germany has a strong nudist streak” is like saying that “Americans have no problem discussing income” or “Europeans think we’re prudes because Americans get scandalized by sex.” It’s something said by foreigners who take a tiny percentage of the a population’s behavior and extrapolate it without any proof.

Germans don’t walk the streets naked, just like Americans don’t talk about how much money they make at cocktail parties and Europeans are scandalized by tittivating sex stories with politicians and celebrities. There’s propriety. They may go to a nude beach more often than Americans, but that’s not the same as walking around your private home with your sexually mature teenage daughter around with your boner hanging out.

Anyway, most of Klum’s actions in public speak to her lower IQ. Unless on a script, she comes off crass and vulgar. Her entire reaction to Trump’s words confirm this: she’s flying off the handle, mumbling contradictory responses, and getting genuinely angry as if this is a 1990s Jenny Jones Show and she’s trying to show that “I’m Still All That And A Bag of Chips, Hater!”

So she’s a Walmart momma. Not smart enough to have gotten this far on her own. Unlike say a Kathy Ireland—who runs her own corporate empire—-Klum’s got a handler who keeps her from bottoming out. Mother or father, or perhaps a smart sibling who parlayed their sister’s easy vajajay into fame and fortune.

It’s only utilitarian and trivial intelligence, business streetsmarts at best, but nothing more. In terms of character by contrast Heidi basically is a Walmart momma who was only spared that fate because she happened to be good-looking — in a rather conventional way, I should add. Says this German.

“…and how she walked around nude at home, even in front of her parents as a teenager, and her parents did so in front of her.”

That’s actually fairly common in Northern Europe – not the UK. It can be a shock to go the beach in France or Germany and see fat, naked people all around. They also have mixed changing rooms in gyms and swimming pools.

      • Arbiter says:

That’s actually fairly common in Northern Europe – not the UK.

        LOL

No. It’s not “fairly common”. Any family that walked around naked at home would be considered a freak show, just like in the U.S.

As for people being naked, nice little lie there. Some women can be TOPLESS, but not naked. Nudist beaches are just as rare as in the U.S.

But when it comes to their favored stooges, it’s “That’s irrelevant, that’s in the past”. Note how they never mention that ALL THREE of Jeb Bush’s Mestizo children are criminals. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/features/donald-trump-murdoch-ailes-nbc-816131

“Did you hear from Heidi Klum after the comment about her not being a ’10’ anymore?”

    No, I haven’t. I mean, I know her, but I haven’t.

“Do you feel like you can be someone who talks about women’s looks and not be sexist?”

First of all, this was all done years ago. This was taken off the Howard Stern show. When you’re with Howard, you’re talking. I never intended to be running for president. You’re talking, you’re having fun, you’re a big real estate developer and a big businessman and what you say doesn’t matter. Yet of course what I say is nothing compared to what some other people say, including Megyn Kelly — you heard about that? That came out last week. [Kelly discussed her sex life on the show in 2010.] That’s where Maureen got that. I didn’t tell this to Maureen. She even got the Heidi Klum from Howard. So it makes more sense when you hear it that way. And the thing with Halle Berry, that’s all Howard.

“You just got drawn into this stuff?”

Well, you do. It’s always very dangerous to do Howard because you’re all having a great time and you’re laughing and you get 19 calls from reporters saying, “Is it true that you said this?” But in those days, there weren’t any calls because I was a real estate guy and nobody cared. They cared, but it was open season. Today I wouldn’t say that. But I thought [Dowd’s] column was terrific because basically what she did is she let people know that I will be really good to women.

Sticking up for yourself if a guy insults you in public like that isn’t qualifying. It’s just verbal self defense.

Klum has never been a 10. A 6 face max (personally would say a 5) but definitely a very nice body in her prime..an 8. Which would average her total at 7. She looks good for her age but you simply can’t be a 10 at 42.

I was going to write. She could so easily have done squats. She has been in the modeling business so she knows about squats. And lunges and deadlifts for good measure.

She walks around like this, in a thong, knowing she will end up in magazines – she wants her picture taken. Then she could do squats. • Rick says:

The dude”s name is Vito Schnabel. I copy and pasted the following from some Hivemind site:

        “He’s an art dealer.
Schnabel curated his first art show at the age of 16.
        He is 27.
There is a 13-year difference in age, since Klum is 40, He and Klum reportedly share their interest in art, further erasing the age divide.

He comes from a film background.
His dad is Julian Schnabel, the filmmaker who directed Before Night Falls

Schnabel seems to have more refined tastes, and he likes to hook up with models and MILFs. In addition to Klum, he was linked to supermodel Elle Macpherson, as well as actress Liv Tyler and post-Ashton-Kutcher-era Demi Moore. So he goes for slightly older women, and ones with kids. Oh, they are famous, too. ”

So this guy appears to be a somewhat rare male ‘golddigger’ type cad. He probably didnt get any action from Macpherson or Tyler but the preselection got him in the door to date aging cougar Demi Moore, and now to mudshark Klum.
He must be having some kind of existential crisis between being a newage goldigger cad, and a beta as fuck wrong color new dad.

He offers nothing that young, prime-of-life female celebs can’t get from dozens of more impressive men. But washed-up former hotties can brandish him as proof they’ve still got sex appeal.

So these wall-crashers get some young arm candy to stave off their depressing reality a moment longer & he can lure suckers to his overpriced scribbles emporium shows by promising (fading) star power.

    4) Is Donald Trump married?

That’s surely more a compliment. Klum’s general public image and such does concern her appearance, in addition to which the statement wasn’t necessarily made on a personal level but in other capacities, so it’s not that surprising that she would choose to respond. What’s more surprising is that in her time with other females she hasn’t come across many whom she wouldn’t classify as a 10. A generic piece of rhetoric doesn’t in this case seem to indicate qualifying, rather a response to an overall statement which if you recall was slightly controversial and made in a fairly public context during a campaign period, so to speak, it comes off as more of a response to the public than otherwise. She might be a very active lesbian though so stay clear.

    That said, Heidi Klum isn’t a 10.

This order of things is perfect for light-skinned Blacks and Latinos and Central Asians like the Armenian Kardashian. Not White, so there’s that coveted propaganda factor, but not (too) Black either which usually doesn’t work no matter how much the media owners wish it would.
