sorry to leave a second comment. I have had these thoughts that the impact of muslim presence in Spain left a genetic mark. And I think a lot of this mark was transmitted to Latin America. And this genetic jeopardy was the largest reason to fear and fight any incursion of southern peoples into the north, far more than economics or crime, or even on the impact to western civilization. This genetic damage cannot be undone.
